Care Philosophy: My goal as a physician is to embody the word ``doctor`` which is based in a latin word that means ``teacher``. The focus is to communicate to you and your family the medical condition you are dealing with, how it became began and what treatment options are available to manage it. I like to start with an interview where we discuss your injury, how long you have had pain and what has already been done to treat it. From there I examine the concerned body part, take x-rays if necessary and then formulate a list of possible problems. Many times the medical condition is easily determined, in other cases, it takes additional workup to sort out the exact problem. Working together, after we have ascertained the issue, we can develop a treatment plan. Often I am able to give you a variety of options and let you choose the one which fits you best. The ultimate goal is a treatment plan that provides you substantial pain relief.

Care Philosophy: I believe that the patient is the foundation of medicine. As a physician I strive to seek out the patient's best interest and to improve their quality of life as well as achieve the health and wellness that they deserve as a person. We all come from different backgrounds, different philosophies, and have different interests but we are all deserving of a good and happy life. I treat all patients as individuals, with each patient and their pathology as unique. I incorporate a large amount of patient autonomy into the decision making process recognizing that we are all different and want to ensure that we are acting to serve the patient's desires and achieve their goals. We will work together to achieve the best desired outcome for each individual.

Care Philosophy: The idea of discovering better and stronger ways to make my patients more mobile has always been at the forefront. I want them happy because a happy patient is a reward that’s hard to describe. I treat my patients as if they’re members of my own family, and in my life, family comes first. Therefore, patients come first, always.

Care Philosophy: My overall philosophy is that I like to provide patient centered, collaborative, educated, evidence based care. I don't see myself as a one person show. I believe, I work as part of a team. I also like the team approach to certain pathologies. One of the things that worked very well, and got very high praise at my last job, was a neuro-oncology (or Brain & Spine tumor) clinic. One day a week, I would set up shop at the local cancer center, where I would first run a multi-disciplinary conference with Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology and other services, followed by a clinic dedicated to patient's with brain and spine tumors. Here patients would see me in addition to oncology and radiation oncology in one visit. This approach really improved the patient experience, improved outcomes and reduced complications. I would like to implement something similar like this in Redding.
