Biography: Dr. Jackson G. Cohen is a fellowship-trained, board-certified, interventional pain medicine physician. Dr. Cohen completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn before moving to Miami for his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohen specializes in the treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain, including neck and low back pain, hip, knee and shoulder pain, arthritis, tendon injuries, sports injuries, nerve pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and cancer pain, among other chronic pain conditions. Each patient receives an individualized treatment and management plan that is optimized to fit his or her unique needs. Dr. Cohen practices with a holistic approach, utilizing physical therapy and other modalities, minimally invasive procedures, collaborative patient education, and positive lifestyle modifications to reach healthy, positive outcomes. Outside of work, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and barbecuing, going to the gym, and playing sports.
