Biography: I am a pediatrician practicing in outpatient primary care at the Park Nicollet clinic in Shakopee. There, I work with patients and families of all different ages, medical complexities and backgrounds. I love to work with adolescents and help them manage all aspects of their health through the fun and challenging teenage years, and give them the tools they need to be able to take full ownership of their health care once they leave our practice. I also have an interest in managing allergies, advocating for immunizations and making sure children of all ages get the preventive care they need. My favorite part of pediatrics is definitely the patients and the bonds I can form with families. I believe that this relationship between doctor and family is the backbone of pediatric health care. Plus, working with children is so much fun! They are so optimistic, full of joy and resilient! My approach to practicing is generally trying to listen to my families and work with them to help create an optimized care plan. This includes listening to any fears and concerns, working with different cultural backgrounds, and hopefully ending the visit with a plan that everyone is comfortable with.

Biography: I love working in pediatrics and find it both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I particularly love the fresh outlook children have on life and forming relationships with my patients and their families. I enjoy working with children from birth through the early college years and have a particular interest in working with new moms on breastfeeding support and with adolescents. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, cheering on the MN Twins and Duke Blue Devils, traveling, reading and spending time outside.

Biography: I love all aspects of pediatrics, but I also have a wide variety of life experiences that have shaped my interests; from injuries growing up as a competitive gymnast, to working in schools with children who have special needs, to traversing the disappointments and tough times in life that taught me resiliency and perseverance. I especially enjoy having a firsthand view of all the human mind and body are capable of, whether that be learning how to walk, mastering long division, or healing from an illness or an injury. It's amazing to watch children grow over time to reach their full potential.
