Biography: Dr. Kenton Panas, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Weeki Wachee, FL. He is 35 years old and has been practicing for 32 years. Dr. Kenton Panas, MD is affiliated with HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital.

Biography: Rafael Velasquez, MD, attended residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama, and also completed a residency at Kansas University School of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine. Dr. Velasquez was born in Lima, Peru, and graduated from Federico Villarreal School of Medicine in 1993. He worked with multiple volunteer programs in his native Peru, including the early detection of cervical/breast cancer, cholera prevention, and the Peruvian Red Cross. Dr. Valasquez is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Medical Association. He enjoys karate, soccer, music, reading and spending time with friends and family.

This begins with carefully listening to my patients, paying attention to every detail of their condition, understanding how it affects their lives, and using my best clinical judgement to formulate an effective plan for the fastest recovery possible. When surgery becomes necessary, I use the latest state of the art orthopedic implants and minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible, in order to provide my patients with the most durable surgical option, best environment for healing, and optimal postoperative function. I am passionate about making sure my patients fully understand their condition and treatment options because orthopaedic surgery is a complex, rapidly advancing field of medicine and treatment options can often be confusing for patients. Care Philosophy: As a Spine and pain management specialist, my goal is to help restore function (physical as well as cognitive) utilizing a multidisciplinary approach with application of advanced interventional techniques (including fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance), medication therapies (including membrane stabilizers), and psychotherapeutics. My main focus is finding the root cause of the pain and treating the cause rather than masking it with medication.
