Biography: Sarah E. Griffin, M.D., is a fellowship-trained cataract, refractive, and corneal surgeon. She is a North Carolina native and completed a cornea and refractive fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. Dr. Griffin has extensive training in the most advanced cataract, anterior segment and corneal surgical techniques, including the placement of secondary intraocular lenses. She is also highly skilled in the treatment of corneal external eye disease. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Griffin received her Medical Degree and completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Loyola University in Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama.Dr. Griffin is an active member of American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
