Biography: I am an obstetrician-gynecologist with interests in prenatal care, contraceptive management and infertility. I knew from an early age that I wanted to become a doctor. I enjoy my position as an OB-GYN because it gives me an opportunity to provide care and form relationships with women from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. I am fluent in Somali and know some Spanish, which helps me connect with more patients to help them feel comfortable communicating and sharing with me. My practice is a collaborative effort. I work with my patients to put a plan together, encouraging them to voice their opinions and be active participants in their health care.

Biography: As an obstetrician-gynecologist, it is a privilege to partner with women during some of the most important times in their lives. I enjoy all aspects of comprehensive women's care and have special interests in abnormal periods, contraception, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pregnancy care. I am also passionate about preventive medicine and the dietary and lifestyle factors that influence health and well-being. I partner with my patients to create individualized treatment plans that meet their unique goals. When this involves surgery, I offer the least invasive method to shorten recovery time.

Biography: As a women's health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife, I provide care for women of all life stages. I especially enjoy caring for women during pregnancy and helping women and their families prepare for childbirth. Preventive women's health care, adolescent gynecology and contraceptive counseling and planning are additional interests of mine. I am trained in the insertion of intrauterine and subdermal contraceptive devices. All of the clients I serve come with prior life experiences and knowledge related to women's health. I develop a partnership with the women I care for, listen to their needs and work to fill in their knowledge gaps so they can make informed decisions about their health.
