Dr. Vijaya Galic, MD

Dr Galic has been the most outstanding and very professional doctor I have experienced. She has given me more information about my condition than I have gathered from numerous doctors in the past,which shows her passion for the field of work she is in and will go the extra mile for her patience. Thank you for everything!

Dr. Galic has been God sent, She has taken her time to study my case and has brought me back to health. She will not make a desicion until she has all her answers at which time she will explain her findings. I appreciate the fact that she will take time out of her busy schedule to call you, sometimes as late as 10 P.M., and give you an update. I can not thank her enough for her what she has done for me. I hope she will stay in El Paso for many years to come.

Worth giving a very positive review. You will not find a better doctor or surgeon in her field, as far as I am concerned. I have family in the medical field and even they say she is highly respected by her colleague's. My diagnosis was after several tests/visits in order to be positive. I very much appreciate that. I was able to make an informed decision and I still feel the decision was the right one for me. I recommend her to anyone needing a gyn/oncologist surgeon.

I went In to Dr. Galic’s office by recommendation. Prior to seeing her I had seen a handful of Dr’s that had no knowledge of how to remedy/treat my symptoms instead of being transparent and saying they didn’t know I was prescribed medicine after medicine after medicine with no signs of improvements. One visit with her changed my whole life, in the first visit with all my paperwork from other Dr’s she was able to tell me 1. the dr’s i saw before her had no knowledge of what to do and 2. What it would take to put my health back on track. Her transparency, knowledge and care for what she does and for my health shined like a star. She didn’t second guess anything and knew exactly what it took to get Me healthy again. She was straight forward about the decisions I had but did tell me at the end her recommendations would be the end to my issue. I took all her advice and stand healthy without any issues. El Paso is lucky to have a Dr. with her knowledge and expertise.

You will not find a more professional amazing woman like Dr. Galic, she doesn't waste your time she comes in with a plan. Gives you the best option for treatment. In December of 2017 Dr. Galic performed my surgery and everything went well she not only removed my cyst but she also gave me a surgery other Dr's did not want to give me. I am grateful that we have such a wonder doctor here in the borderland. She is one in a million and I hope she staying in are region for a long time.

Dr. Galic saved my life by NOT treating me. She recognized I had an extremely rare cancer (appendiceal with PMP) and referred me to the only doctor in the region who treated it (UWMC). I saw other gyno-oncos who just wanted to cut me open. Her staff was supportive and helpful. She's extremely knowledgeable and I was lucky to have found her. I've been in remission for several years and in another year I'll be declared "cured".

Dr. Galic is one of the best doctor I have ever seen, she very knowledgeable and confident, she puts you at ease. Answers all your concerns. She gives you all the options so that the best decision can be made and lays out a plan of action. Just know that if your not one of her cancer patients your experience can be different than those that have cancer, she kinda treats you as second class, like you are wasting her time. I will forever be thankful for her doing my surgery.

Absolutely terrible. She explained nothing to me. Had me leave my office visit as my son and I were crying. Gave me no alternative options. No consoling. Terrible bedside manner. She clearly hates El Paso and it’s natives. We are a poor border community hospital. She needs to realize that. It’s not my fault I have cancer. I don’t recommend her clinic hours at all. See someone else please. Also. My surgical scars are atrocious. I feel miserable.
