Biography: Hello and welcome! My name is Kelli Means and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a licensed independent mental health practitioner (LIMHP) and licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) in the state of Nebraska and a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of South Dakota. In 2019 I earned certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist and have maintained this certification with ongoing education in the trauma field. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011 and my Masters of Science from Wayne State College in Community Mental Health Counseling in 2015. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years and the past 6 years have been as a mental health and addictions therapist at non-profit agencies that work with state funding and/or sliding fee scales. I have worked in a variety of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric unit while attending my master's program, outpatient therapy, school-based therapy, and residential drug and alcohol treatment. I have found that my heart is truly in working with patients who have limited resources to meet their needs. While I have experience with children and adolescents, most of my experience has been working with adults. As a provider, I have worked with patients with a range of diagnoses and stressors, including (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, panic/panic attacks, schizophrenia (including first psychotic episodes), bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD and trauma, LGBT+, grief/loss, relationships, sex trafficking, self-esteem, domestic violence, alcohol and other drug addictions, and dissociations. My counseling style is welcoming and conversational. I am known for being upfront and honest always and blunt when needed, though I tailor my approach to meet each individual's needs. My therapeutic approach combines Person-Centered, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused therapist, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Somatic therapy depending on what you want or need. My job will never be to fix you or change you. I believe all my clients are people first and more than the sum of their symptoms or their diagnosis. My most significant job as a therapist is to understand who you are and build trust with you; if you don't trust your therapist, you aren't likely to tell them much, and if you don't tell them much, you won't get much work done. My hope is to teach you to cope on your own and learn to be assertive with what you want or need in life. You are in control of your life and ability to make changes, I am merely a guide to help you when you are lost or uncertain. I look forward to meeting you and starting this journey with you!

Biography: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have been practicing in the mental health field for the past nine years with individuals, couples, and groups. I have worked with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, relationship issues, communication, conflict resolution, grief, and addiction. Change is one of the hardest but ultimately most rewarding experiences a person can have. However, for change to happen, we must be willing to step out of the comfort zones we create in order to learn new skills and perspectives that we can then incorporate in our daily lives. I approach counseling as though each client is "unique" and not a product of their diagnosis. My objective in therapy is to provide a Holistic approach incorporating Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and empowering principles to integrate therapeutic measures to focus on the whole system: mind, body, and spirit. I have practiced these mental health therapies successfully with children, adolescents, and adults by empowering them to decrease their anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms, increasing frustration tolerance, and eliminating harmful substance abuse, among other presenting mental health issues. Should you choose to work with me, I look forward to walking with you on your therapeutic journey to reach your desired destination and become a healthier you.

Biography: Hello! My name is Sharon Spencer Rose. I have over 10 years of counseling. I earned a Divinity degree and a Masters degree in Christian Counseling from The Oral Roberts University in Christian in 2002 and 2003. I am licensed professional counselor and licensed addiction counselor. I see counseling as a process in which you, the client, and I, the Counselor having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I approach counseling from both a systems and cognitive-behavioral perspective. A Systems Theorist views most human life as being guided by emotional forces which to a varying degree can be regulated by an individual's ability to think. Systems believe that people are able to modify their responses to the automatic emotional input by undertaking a study of their own patterns of behavior and their link to patterns of behavior in their multigenerational family. In cognitive-behavioral, patterns of thoughts and actions are explored in order to better understand the clients' problems and to develop solutions. However, each individual is unique and may require other approaches to finding a resolution, for this reason an integrative approach that of emerging various approaches may be deemed necessary in order to produce an effective result. I work with clients in a variety of formats, including individually, as couples and as families. I also conduct group therapy as needed.
