Disappointed
I had hoped to find a therapist who would provide attentive and compassionate care. My primary doctor referred me to Wayne, and while my initial visit went smoothly, subsequent appointments were less satisfactory. During my second visit, Wayne struggled to recall our previous discussion, requiring me to refresh his memory. Furthermore, he was late to our third appointment, which resulted in a shorter session. At each visit, Wayne either forgot our previous conversations or inquired about the topics I wished to discuss. Unfortunately, I did not feel that he was invested in my well-being, leading me to seek an alternative therapist.

Disinterested and unhelpful
To start, I'm always let into his office later than appt time, and being dismissed earlier than scheduled, all while I catch him eyeing the clock. He also has no input besides 'so how can I help you today?' and then after telling him something, he's very short-answered, something along the lines of 'Hmm, I see.' With no input afterwards, it creates an awkward, uncomfortable situation. Do I talk about another topic? Ok, sure, just to end the awkward silence. To which he'll just say 'Interesting...', again, with minimal input. Next thing I know, I'm being dismissed 20 mins into the hour session. He's in it for the money.

This is one of the most disinterested, disorganized medical "un-professionals" I have ever come across. After giving him specific contact instructions, he ignored them and made the same contact mistake twice, resulting in two missed appointments. He then reported both as a "patient missed call" in my chart. Finally, we connected and I provided him with copious in depth details about the issue I was reaching out to him for. He apparently ignored all we had previously discussed as he began my next appointment with, "So, what do you want to talk about?". I reminded him about all we had covered during my last visit. His reply? "So how can I help you ?" I then told him my expectation was to be treated as a patient, not as an annnuity, and based on his obvious lack of attention and blatant indifference, I would find another practicioner, better organized, and more interested and invested in their patients wellbeing. I then fired him immediately. Do yourself a favor, find someone else..I did!
