Be aware things took a turn
It went well at first, I sought services for my 14year old who needed in person help. We had about 6 sessions then things took a bad turn. As a parent it never donned on me that therapist can tell your children whatever they want, for example if my child gets in trouble misbehaves lies or doesn’t follow rules a consequence we do in our house is to take the child’s cell phone. Dr nightingale said to my child and myself separately I shouldn’t take the child’s cell phone unless I have a contract in place. There were a few other issues that came up at our last appointment. My parenting style must differ from hers but I am not ok with her trying to override my parenting. The other issue was with my child telling me dr. Nightingale wasn’t listening or possibly misinterpreting what my child was trying to say.

We found our first and only appointment with Dr. Nightingale, a disaster. She talked more then listened, she gave strong opionions about us instead of getting to know us. Not a positive experience for a marriage in crisis.
