Vivian Orthmann, RN

I don’t know about the person that gave Vivian a bad review. She had a wonderful bedside manner and went out of her way to get me the best help needed. I’ll forever be grateful to this wonderful soul and Ohana and Yakima are lucky to have to have such are compassionate and caring health care provider.

My mom hadn't had any breast exams done in years and was experiencing pain and new lumps. She was extremely worried and to get in with her PCP was going to take weeks. Instead, she was able to see Vivian the same day that we called. It made us more comfortable to know she was seeing someone who is specifically a Breast Health provider and so quick.I was able to join my mom in the appointment for support, all questions we had were discussed and answered clearly to the point that it even made me feel better! Vivian was able to put in referrals right after her consult and my mom was able to get imaging that same day too! The results were a bit concerning but Vivian made sure to call my mom with the results as soon as she could, which took about a day, and made a treatment plan. The whole situation was a rollercoaster of emotions, but Vivian was extremely attentive and kind. EX: She called my mom a day before her procedure just to see how she was doing. We are SO thankful for Vivian!

I scheduled an appointment with Vivian to address a lump I felt in my breast. It was fairly small but I was concerned nonetheless. I was able to be seen same day, which was awesome, and was able to speak to Vivian about my concerns. She did a fantastic job of calming my anxiety while also making me feel informed about the possibilities. I had an ultrasound (which was also completed the same day) and got my results within a few hours! It was so nice to not have to wait for my doctor to call me, and have my concerns addressed in a timely, yet complete manner. Since then, I recommend everyone I know who has a breast concern to meet with Vivian, she was so great!

When you go to an appt to see if you have breast cancer it wld be nice to be treated like a human and not just a chart/piece of paper that helps provides Vivian’s pay check. She was rude, and very unprofessional. It was like she hated me from the moment she saw me for some reason. Would not recommend my worst enemy to her.
