Stephanie Garrison, PA

Although she is no longer a provider at LifeStance Health, she does see patients at Mercy OBGYN Plaza as part of Dr. Goff's team. He is also a highly acclaimed professional in women's health. I saw Stephanie multiple times from February 2019 through December 2023. I have always found her to be thorough, insightful, and a good listener. She did ask about day-to-day life circumstances to understand the full situation and to make sure that I was combining her medical expertise with consistent cognitive behavioral therapy via a counselor. These 2 components are necessary for the best results. I found Stephanie to be very on point as to the supplement recommendations and the medication combination and dosage levels that would be appropriate. She is very open and moves steadily, but not to quickly in making med adjustments, which again makes her reliable and a great physician in my experience and opinion.

I've been seeing Stephanie for almost 5 years, and I will go to bat for her every time. I've NEVER had a provider who genuinely cared about me the way she has. She's the real deal, and I feel it necessary to say that I WOULD NOT BE ALIVE WITHOUT HER... she saved my life.

My appointments with Stephanie seemed alright the first few times but she got irritated easily when I would explain that I'd already tried a medication she wanted me to take (apparently they don't review patient history already on file) or when I said I couldn't afford the long list of supplements and prescriptions listed on a full 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. She also would get irritated when I questioned or challenged her in any way. She seemed to prefer a little lamb who doesn't question her. I requested to change providers after we were going through what I thought was a routine visit and she suddenly started yelling at me that she wasn't my therapist (although she asked me questions about what was going on in my life) and flipped out on me. I left bawling hysterically and even though many staff saw me in distress not one person asked if I was ok or even seemed concerned. Neither Stephanie nor anyone at Balance Women's even called to check on me after I left.
