Peter Golboro, LCSW

Without any reservations -- I absolutely recommend Peter Golboro. Have seen over 10 therapists counselor in the last 35 years (grappling with, frequently debilitating OCD, and ever-present anxiety and depression) -- Peter is hands down the best person I have worked with. He is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and I have gained so much benefit from my time with Peter. Started seeing him in Cherry Hill several years ago. He was personally recommended to me by my psychiatrist. After a couple sessions I could see why. Peter really helped me help myself and the benefit was great. More than just an empathetic ear (had a few counselors like that) -- Peter helped me facing and examining things I was struggling with, understanding my thinking and nudged me to push my boundaries and I always left thinking more positively and productively about how I frame my thinking and can face my struggles. I feel like I understand myself, my struggles/hurdles better and I can face them head on -- clearer than ever and I feel empowered with tools to deal. I have never met a more attentive and compassionate provider who at the same time will necessarily challenge me even if it seems hard at the moment. I have recommended Peter and heard similar feedback. I wish I met him when I was younger and first really struggling. I am living my best life now.
