Pat is a ray of sunshine! She has been very comforting and gentle with me in my grief journey as a bereaved mother. I appreciate her perspective and all her knowledge. Pat has helped me fill my “toolbox” with tools to help me get through my really hard days where my anxiety is through the roof. I sometimes start my session in full blown tears, and usually always end it with a smile and feeling like I was heard and seen. She’s gentle, kind, compassionate and truly cares about her clients. She’s one of a kind.

I came in specifically knowing which addictions I wanted to let go of. She patiently listened to me with empathy and she wasn’t hesitant to call me out if I wasn’t being honest with myself either. We figured out the best mode of therapy. I was interested in how E.M.D.R. can help with substance abuse. We immediately got to work, and she guided me out of my own way…it’s interesting how something that was deeply part of my life for 17 years could just fade away within 3-4 sessions. I have a deep rooted knowing that “I’d rather not!” It was interesting, I noticed that I also let go of other coping mechanisms in clusters without even focusing on them (i.e. 32 year nail biting habit). These old habits aren’t even on the back of my mind even though I never knew how I’d live without them. But it’s been 3 years and whenever I think of this level of freedom that I currently live in I’m overjoyed! I thank God for my healing and Pat simply showed me how to get out of my own way.

I’ve been seeing pat for about a decade now, and I can honestly say that she has had a huge impact on my life. She has helped me through a lot of past trauma and life changes, and she really does care for her patients. I recommend her services every time I have the opportunity, especially for children, teens and young adults. I have only the highest respect and appreciation for her and her practice.

She has more to offer than a general therapist and does alternative modalities such as neurofeedback. I highly recommend working with her whatever the issue may be.

Much of the pain that has driven me to continue therapy throughout my adult life comes from having never felt I was valued as a person by those who could have been supportive in my early life, but I’ve come to realize now, as an adult, they simply didn’t have the capacity. Pat gives me confidence to trust myself; to understand and embrace that I am, ultimately, my own source of healing, strength and growth.

Pat is a wonderful, compassionate therapist. I don’t know what my family would do without her. She taught us all how to navigate our lives dealing with so many medical issues. She guided us through all the emotional ups and downs we faced along the way. I highly recommend Pat to anyone that is looking for the tools to learn how to deal with complicated life issues.
