Dr. Nicole Schertell, ND

I have been going to Vibrant Health for 2 years to address a chronic tick borne illness. I had been making great progress in alleviating the infection when I discovered I had breast cancer. I was referred to Dr. Schertell by her colleague Dr. Mauss while Dr. Schertell in integrative cancer care and tick borne infection. Dr. Schertell has been guiding me through my cancer therapy, providing supportive care while working closely with my oncology team. At the same time, Dr. Schertell has been helping to maintain the progress I have made on my tick borne infection. I highly recommend Vibrant Health and Dr. Schertell. They care. They listen. They use evidence-based tests and target the underlying cause rather than just treating symptoms. Our appointments are never rushed and I feel comfortable with my health plan. Although currently insurance is not accepted for our appointments, the cost is still less than the copays I make for a traditional doctor for much shorter visits. They do take HSA

Dr Schertell is the best at finding the root cause of health issues. I felt she was a great listener, very caring, and determined to get me better. She nailed it with the underlying cause of my IBS and I’ve been getting better.

Dr Schertell does not accept insurance and states that her ND status prohibits her from being part insurance practice - which is untrue, many NDs accept insurance. She also expects you to buy her compounded tinctures plus supplements that she places her own label on. She also owns a spa downstairs and expects her patients to pay for a massage in order to have Lyme tests done. Then there are her "magical" peptides that are not FDA approved If you have a concern about your health care plan you are expected to tell the receptionist - who will quiz you and analyze your situation uncomfortably for the waiting area to hear. - She expects you to keep a monthly appt with her in order to refill perscriptions - Average cost of an appt (I had three) appt $300 compounded tinctures $80 supplements $120 peptides $200 massage $90 Expect to wait 30-45 minutes for your appt Dr Schertell indicated that it would take AT LEAST 6 months of monthly visits for me to get better.

Dr Shertell is a wonderful kind doctor and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been a patient if hers for a few years and always feel better after following her protocols. I would highly recommend her.

After years of being passed around by doctors, a friend recommended Dr. Schertell. I truly believe that she saved my life with a Lyme diagnosis. She then diagnosed a parathyroid disorder that 3 other doctors missed. She is really smart and never gives up. I feel so much better.

Dr. Schertell has helped me get my life back. I began seeing her when I was very ill and no Dr. was able to diagnose me. I went to Dr Nicole Shertel for my thyroid after years of symptoms and no one would acknowledge I had an imbalance. She did blood tests and then explained the results like no other doctor had ever taken the time to do. I always leave with a better understanding of my body, and I love that. Not to mention I feel so much better. She definitely knows her stuff along with being very kind. I share her info with everyone.

Not recommended at all. Staff was great but Dr scherttell does not know what she's doing.
