Dr. Leon Hecht III, ND

Lots of dangerous treatments. I wonder if this "Dr" actually knows what some of his IVs can do to sick people. Would stay away lots of dangerous recommendations came from this Dr through my course of treatment which resulted in zero improvement. I am sure he enjoyed my money though always asking for another appointment to "discuss".

Our daughter was very sick with SIBO and we were working with Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHAD) and when they couldn't help her we went to Boston's Children's Hospital. They were able to rule out a lot but she wasn't getting better. Dr. Hecht worked with her over several months using antibiotics and antimicrobials as well as other supplements and was able to heal her. He was the most compassionate and caring doctor we have ever worked with. Some appointments were 2 hours some were 15 minutes. He never rushed us and always answered all of our questions. Dr Hecht saved my son’s life my son had debilitating Lyme disease. He was missed diagnosed for two years by several doctors. No one diagnosed his Lyme infection. He was told he was in his head and he needed serious psychological support. Finally he found dr Hecht who immediately diagnosed his problem.....Lyme. It was a long haul(several years) getting my son back to health but dr Hecht did it. He was caring, understanding, a good listener, and provided both medications and natural remedies that brought our son back to normal health. He is absolutely the best!

Dr. Hecht is a special man, he is caring and unique. He’s incredibly educated and knowledgeable as a doctor, he seems very into research. Sometimes I wish he listened better or was more open to listening to some concerns, but overall he is great and clearly cares about helping you. I’ve recommended him to people before and would recommend him again.

Constantly interrupts and is unconcerned with history. Only symptoms. If he had paid attention and actually looked at my labs, he would’ve known his tentative diagnoses had been ruled out already. Clearly he wants to make as much money off patients as possible. Helping some is just a byproduct. He didn’t care at all about doing anything to help my uncontrolled asthma immediately. Run far away.
