Started visit with “I don’t even know why you’re here, you’re all up to date on your exams.” before even letting me introduce myself. Explained I was interested in other contraceptive options and possible sterilization. She rec’d an IUD and when I expressed my concern for pain with insertion, removal, complications told me to “just take ibuprofen prior to the appointment.” While she was very knowledgeable regarding options other than sterilization I expressed that I believed sterilization would be the best option for me and thanked her for going through all other options. She told me she couldn’t help with that so I asked who I should contact and she replied with, “Literally anyone else here.” At end of visit I thanked her for her time, knowledge, said that it was nice to meet her and she left the room and slammed the door without saying anything. I wasn’t going to write a review but after telling my friends about this experience they rec’d I do so that others know before seeing her.

I truly do not enjoy going to a Dr.'s office, but in meeting Melissa and her coworkers, they make you feel at ease. They are professional, communicators, and they listen to the patient (they take the time - you do not feel rushed). I am so glad that I met this group of professionals. My daughter is now switching to them as well.
