Dr. Thomas Zarka, MD

My water broke unexpectedly a week before my scheduled c-section with my usual OB. I had never met Dr. Zarka but he was the doctor on call that could do my c-section. He was so incredibly nice and comforting. I got emotional on the operating table right before the procedure and he came up and began patting my shoulder and assured me that everything would be fine and that my baby will be here soon. The surgery went very smoothly and he came in to check on me and the baby and congratulate my husband and I. He made our unexpected early delivery a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend him!

I had a prolapsed bladder and the Doctor that i had seen for 2 years did nothing to help except prescribe pills. Dr Zarka performed surgery and i was fine after that!

My visit was on time, friendly and great bedside manner.

He’s relaxed and full of knowledge. I also felt comfortable knowing the whole team at the office will be involved as well!

Dr. Zarka has been my gyn. for years now. He is AMAZING. Very knowledgeable . He is easy to talk about problems with and Very respectful of the patient and their opinions and preferred treatments. He's the BEST! Staff is friendly and knowledgable as well.

This was an annual routine appointment. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was friendly and interested in my concerns. I felt very comfortable and thought the level of care was excellent.

I have been going to this Doctor's Office for nearly 13 years now. Although my original doctor does not practice there any more I stayed with them. I have had Dr. Zarka for about 3 years consecutively. I had the chance to meet him when I was pregnant with my first as well as re-introduced with my second and third. He is phenomenal at what he does and would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone. Even if they couldn't see him because of what ever reason any others there I am sure are just as amazing.

Dr. Zarka’s bedside manner and thoroughness is assuring. I leave each appointment with the trust that he has provided and looked out for my care 110%. Much gratitude to Dr. Zarka and his wonderful staff.

I’ve been going to Dr Zarka for several years and he and his staff are always very caring and professional.

Dr. Zarka is a wonderful human being. He is kind, compassionate, and very thorough. He never once makes you feel like you dignity is compromised. You know your in great hands. I never want to see any one else.

Dr. Zarka is very easy to talk to and his visits do not feel rushed. He has gotten me through several issues. I have utmost confidence in him.

Everyone is so nice. Always greeted with a smile. Dr Z is great. His exams are quick and gentle... Enjoy his bed side manor as well.

Dr. Zarka is a great doctor. As one knows there is no single ingredient that makes a good doctor. All traits mean nothing if they aren’t accentuated by a true passion for the work, which Dr Zarka has. He has compassion, a strong work ethic, is knowledgeable, has confidence, humility, and passion. I have always noticed that Dr. Zarka is a good listener which I believe is critical to be a good doctor. He answers questions using language that is clear. I feel I am in good hands and cared for. He has a great bedside manner as he is personable, a great listener, and empathetic to the concerns of his patient.

Dr. Zarka has been my doctor for over 8 years and has delivered all 3 of my children. He’s an excellent and knowledgeable doctor, listens to concerns, and offers honest and practical advice. The entire practice is wonderful, including nurses and receptionists— they are very timely regarding returning calls, making appointments, and remaining on schedule. It’s really nice to have the individualized attention that a larger practice doesn’t always provide. I highly recommend Dr. Zarka and everyone over at Women’s Health Associates of Derry.

From the receptionist to the nurse to Dr. Zarka himself my visit was very pleasant. I am an older woman, 71, and had not gone to a gynecologist in years. Because of some medical problems Dr. Zarka was recommended. He was friendly and professional. He took time to explain everything to me and often asked if I had any questions. At no time did I feel rushed. For my first visit I felt confident I would get proper care. I would highly recommend him and this association.
