After having a pap done by a different provider, I realized how uncomfortable Melissa Colman made me feel at my appointment. She was incredibly aggressive with her touch and had a know-it-all attitude that made me feel like my concerns weren’t being listened to. I felt as though she was talking down to me, and I left her office feeling really upset.

I was very impressed. Came into the office suffering from post menopausal bleeding. Melissa was not only attentive and calming, but also explained all performed procedures thoroughly. She spent a tremendous amount of time explaining what was the likely culprit & what I would need to do. She also called me at home the minute she received the first test results. I could not be happier with the attention I received.

I absolutely love Melissa! She is very knowledgeable and explains things very well. When performing a procedure she will talk you through it and is very gentle! She makes the awkward and uncomfortable visits a little less awkward and as comfortable as they can be. I would recommend her to anyone asking for a good GYN.

Does not listen to any concerns the patient may or may not have. Does not answer patient's questions appropriately. Makes medical decisions based on what she thinks is best despite patient's feelings or any side effects the patient is having. Refused to allow me to return to a birth control that worked for me from a birth control that gave me horrible side effects multiple times. Wouldn't listen to me until I essentially performed a sit-in in an examination room.
