Sacred Heart has a good reputation. I’m not sure why after this experience. She cut me off and told me she didn’t want to hear about my symptoms. She told me I was a liar. She was dismissive and wouldn’t discuss my symptoms with me. I’ve been experiencing these symptoms for almost a year now, and zero help. Maybe, she treats veterans like garbage. Every time I tried to talk, she cut me off. I felt like I was on trial, not in a doctor’s office. I know she treats others this way and she doesn’t seem to care. How do you treat people if you don’t want to hear their symptoms? She asks what my symptoms are and then cuts me off when I start saying them. How is this medical care? I won’t go back. The gaslighting and disrespect is unreal, and yet, there’s a flyer in her office that tells patients they need to be respectful. She needs to follow through with that.

Kerry has always talked about my condition so that I understand and never hurrying. I am thankful I have her taking care of me. She gets 5 stars from me

Kerry Powell takes the time to listen to her patients, asks questions, and then she provides excellent advice.

Arrive early just to wait. Arrive late just to wait so she can see those who arrived on time. Prepare not to be listened to or understood. You know your body and experience but you will told it's normal. When in fact it is not. Be your best advocate because she will not. You'll also be talked over. Choose her at your own risk.

Kerry is very personal, she listens to what I have to say & she takes time with me. She answers any questions that I have, she’s not rushing out of the room to the next patient. We discuss my treatment plan together, as a team.
