Renée was professional and well informed about my situation. We reviewed the scans related to me and she discussed the options that I had, leaving the choices up to me after considering pros and cons. If the need arrives again, I would be glad to see her again

Very understanding

I didn't wait but maybe 5 minutes and Renee called me in. She introduced herself right away. Very professional but friendly. She went over my MRI and showed me where my problem is. She ordered more testing and made an appointment for me to see the Neurosurgeon. I would definitely recommend Renee.

I have been seeing a Dr in Mobile for 5 years and he has never explained my MRI to me. Sometimes his NP did but he has continued to tell us that he sees nothing he can correct and that he only treats the symptoms I have had dozens of Epirurals etc.I was told about the Ascension Medical Group by multiple people and so I came to see Renee Phillips. I was blessed to get in on a day that they had opened up. Renee was very compassionate and through. She gave me an exam, none like i had ever had. She actually looked at my MRI with my husband and I and said 'I can see where this is causing pain and maybe this and we may be able to treat this area and help with pain.' She then ordered their own sets of CT Scan and MRI and X-rays. I now have an appt with the Dr in the next 4 weeks and I am very hopeful. The office was super efficient and very friendly. They are prompt in answering calls, questions etc. This is office is professional and caring!

She has terrible bedside manner. She offers opinions that don’t match her title. This office usually will send the P.A. in and you’ll have to get diagnostics done first, before you ever see a Dr. Everything at this office is very controlled by the P.A.’s , if you have insurance that doesn’t need a referral, they insist on a referral and then call you for the appt. If you enjoy waiting month’s to see a Dr, this is the place for you!

Renee listened, reviewed the MRI, and answered all our questions. She tested muscle strength and located pain areas and trigger points. She is very thorough and very sensitive to patient concerns. We left feeling hopeful and cared for.
