The final straw was when I went to see Katherine for assistance after an injury that left me unable to bear weight on my leg, confined to my bed, for 10-12 weeks. After 6 weeks in bed I started having severe anxiety. Unable to tend to my life or even take a bath/shower, completely dependent upon others for my care. I was in crisis with severe anxiety attacks and inability to sleep. I found myself feeling like "I can't do this anymore". I went to see Katherine for some relief. I was requesting anti-anxiety meds for short-term use. I have had ZERO requests or Rx for this type (or any type ) of drugs previously. She refused! She said she would put me on anti-depressants only. A drug that takes 2-4 weeks to take effect! This is not the first issue I've had with her. But will certainly be the last. Do yourself a favor and do not choose her as your PCP. My gut tells me it may be prudent to stay away from the Bouchier Pritchett practice entirely.
