Amazing Medication Management and Provider
Telehealth
I began seeing Dr. O’Hare after moving to the Seattle area in Jan. 2024. For context, I had received my psychiatric care from several providers in the same office for the past decade previously. In my first visit, I explained my goal of taking less medications, asking to fine tune and learn what worked for my body and mind. I had little trust in psychiatric medication, and could rarely assign a positive value to medications I was prescribed. Dr. O’Hare said medications should contribute positively and she spent our initial sessions talking through my experiences, medications, and goals. She shared her knowledge and always listened to me. She approaches prescribing medications with thoughtful, science backed decisions. Her quiet, kind demeanor coupled with her abilities as a psychiatrist have helped me realize my best mental health and wellness. I cannot encourage others enough to explore medication management with Dr. O’Hare. The right person and medications help!

Dr. O'Hare is a wonderful Psychiatric Provider
Telehealth
I've had the pleasure of having Dr. O'Hare as my Psychiatric Provider for over 5 years and she's been nothing but understanding and patient with me. Up to meeting her, I've always felt overheard, but not actually listened to. She's seen me through ups and downs and has a wonderful sense of empathy that never feels like she's checking off a series of boxes on 'how to actively listen.' I can't recommend her highly enough.

Willing to think outside the box with you!
Telehealth
I have been seeing Dr. O’Hare for almost two years I think. I have been diagnosed with a disorder since 2014 that requires psychiatric follow up and meds. I was managing OK but not great when I began seeing Dr. O’Hare. As we started to seek optimization together, it was clear that she was a scientist at heart: posessing significant curiosity as well as knowledge. She treated me like a collaborator and someone with a unique and important lifestyle, not just a sick patient waiting to be cured. She is the first doctor who identified sleep as a significant factor for me, and prescribed me something low stakes for sleep. I have significantly improved with this small change and have even been able to reduce my stress to the point where I no longer take one med I was taking for focus. To be honest I was shocked that no other provider had ever picked up on this aspect, but it is a testament to her curiosity, how well she truly listens, how she is conservative and holistic with her treatments.

Fantastic! Caring and thoughtful.
I’ve moved across the U.S. a few times and thus had the privilege of working with multiple different psychiatrists over the years and Dr. O’Hare by far has been my favorite! She brings a wholistic approach to her medicine and truly listens and includes the patient in the care plan development. I highly recommend her. She is extremely is always open to tweaking the care plan to best suit patient outcomes!

Excellent and empathetic psychiatrist
I came to Dr. O'Hare's practice through Mindful Therapy Group and followed her to Integrative Psychiatry Northwest. She's incredibly communicative, thoughtful, kind, and has an impressive knowledge of psychiatric medications and their interactions. With her help, I got off of a medicine that was causing severe GI issues and transitioned to a new medication that I've been taking with no problems for the past 6 months. When I moved to California, I was really disappointed that I couldn't continue working with Dr. O'Hare. My experience with her has definitely raised my standards for any other psychiatrists that I work with in the future.

Unprofessional and Neglectful of Patients
As I write this, I am STILL waiting for Jennifer O'Hare to return our calls and patient portal messages for a prescription that lapsed over a week ago. My husband just lost two family members and she can't be bothered to keep him on his regular anti-depressants by simply returning a phone call to the pharmacy after she messed up his (usual) prescription. These are psychiatric medications that you are not supposed to quit cold turkey, yet O'Hare regularly forgets to issue the correct prescriptions to keep my spouse on the same medications he's been taking since he started with her. The pharmacist was equally angry - the office hasn't returned their calls trying to get the prescriptions fixed, either! This neglect for her patients is unprofessional at best, and dangerous to those who are trying to stay on their depression medications as directed. Steer clear of this practitioner - find someone who will actually care for your mental health, especially when you need it the most!

I would highly recommend working with Dr. O'Hare. She approached my care in a systematic, calm, and thorough manner that was comforting and made me feel at ease. I appreciated her insight and felt that she was genuinely interested in my well-being and medication management. We worked together on my goals of care and I always felt she was in my corner. She is a great listener and took care to address each of my points of concern with compassion and decisiveness.

I've been working with Dr. O'Hare for the last couple years. I've dealt with depression and anxiety for most of my life and been treated by countless providers on three continents. Jennifer is the best I've had. She actually LISTENS and plans treatments that reflect what I want rather than what I should continue with. She has turned over stones and done battle with diabolic insurance trolls that few would be willing to tackle. She actually cares about me as a person rather than a case number. I've had providers that likely wouldn't recognize me if they saw me on the street. Dr. O'Hare is worth finding if you need help. It's my pleasure to give her this review

On my very first visit she was fully invested in my treatment and provided a thorough review of my previous and current meds along with my past and current therapy. She communicated well with my therapist to provide consistent and complementary support. She always went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and I was being provided the best possible care. I am finally on a medication regimen I am comfortable with and manages my symptoms and it is because of her guidance and knowledge. She is simply amazing at what she does and I am so grateful!
