How does this individual even have a star? My nagging suspicion is some of these reviews are from fiends and family, as I guarantee from what little interaction I've had these are out of character. I was referred to Dr. Briggs by another CCA for permanent mild hearing loss and was then denied by Dr. Briggs due to her interpretation of the other CCA's audiogram. Instead of conducting a subsequent test Dr. Briggs took it upon herself to summarily cancel my hearing aid consultation pre-scheduled over a month out and then when called out that she never provided any alternatives, or suggestions moving forward, she responded that "she mailed me 5 tips on how to be a better communicator". I'm all for empowerment and I'm sure her analysis was based within some type of draconian system, but permanent hearing loss does not improve with improvisation. Unlike other medical corrections such as eye astigmatism, permanent hearing loss doesn't correct itself with age, but the reverse. Reported.
