Great doctor and was really happy to be able to have an appointment with him. I really think that Barry saved our marriage. If you need a relationship expert pick this guy. Super easy to work with and schedule.

Dr. Lipin is simply amazing! His knowledge and understanding of the human condition, interpersonal relationships, managing depression, bi-polar disorder, PTSD and even simple daily stressors is extensive. Throughout our sessions he's helped me address every single issue I brought to him and with his help I've been able to find clarity on important life decisions, how to manage tough situations and difficult people. I find his warm 'bedside manner', non-judgmental attitude and dry sense of humor extremely endearing. He has simply been invaluable to my personal growth over the last three years and I highly recommend Dr. Lipin.

I would recomend Dr. Lipin to anyone who is serious about improving their life. If you are not willing to do the work, or to leave your ego outside, no therapist will ever help you. If you are willing to not only listen, but apply what you are learning, you can change your life. If you want to overcome anexiety, depression, get unstuck, learn optimism, embrase change, let go of regrets. Dr. Lipin has the tools to help you accomplish these things.

The man is a sorry example of a Dr. Disgusting treatment and boundary violations. Just a un-genuine . Avoid this guy

Barry has taken me through many life events. An abusive marriage, motherhood to a child with needs, a divorce and PTSD from going through the Paris terrorist attacks. Every single piece of guidance/direction has always been the healthiest for me and got me through it the fastest without it haunting me. Led me to happiness without codependency. He pushes you to grow by being honest with yourself. You need to be honest with who you are, don't come in and lie or just looking for an extra fan.

He was able to reshape my mental outlook on key issues that were causing me much worry and problem. Our treatment was engaging, and his ability to bring in real life examples was able to make my treatment protocol more applicable.

Went to this therapist for a while and would not recommend him. Seemed bored on numerous occasions. Seemed much more interested in talking about his interests and the courses he teaches that actual treatment. Seemed more interested in professing his own doctrine and beliefs on some occasions than treatment as he constantly brought up his point of view vfom marriage and family class he teaches at some local college. Often made irresponsible and flippant mental diagnoses in seconds on people.
