I have been seeing Dr. Whetstine for several months now, and I really can say he has helped my Syce and physical health. He is well educated, compassionate, understanding, realistic, and tells it like it is. I look forward to continue my Doxy/talks with him. He brightens my day and keeps me grounded in reality!

Ralph is an amazing therapist and a wonderful human being. I originally found Ralph to help my husband through his PTSD. When I saw how much better my husband felt after just one session with Ralph, I decided to book a session for myself as well. To be honest, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mental/emotional health. I’ve seen other therapists in the past and never stayed with them long due to poor bedside manner, judgmental undertones, or a lack of helpful treatment methods. But I’ve been a patient of Ralph’s for over a year now, and will continue to see him as long as he keeps up his practice. He’s patient, calm, caring, authentic, reliable, nonjudgmental, and a great listener and observer. The sense of comfort I feel in our sessions allows me to speak freely and explore the things within myself I’ve hidden from others for so long. It’s been the most healing experience of my life, and it’s difficult to put into words how much gratitude and respect I have for Ralph.

It was good until it went badly. Unfortunately his arrogance got the better of him. Then he lost patience and yelled and swore at me KNOWING full well that's not how I best receive information especially since I am an anxious person. I fired him (though he would say otherwise) and found a regular human being who is a therapist.

I highly recommend Dr Whetstine. Before I found him I had gone to 5 therapists and was not helped in my PTSD, anxiety & Depression. Dr Whetstine not only helped me, but my son as well. He has brought me peace of mind in a very serious situation and made me whole again.

If you are looking for someone who’s going to tell you what you want I suggest you keep looking. Ralph has challenged me to see things in diffrent light and look at barriers I have erected that have kept me from my potential. He’s compassionate and understanding, upfront and honest. He is very knowledgeable and experienced.Hes down to Earth which makes him very easy to talk to.For me he exudes care respect and patience. Hope this helps anyone looking for excellent help. Good luck on your journey.

Hands down the worst psychotherapist ever. I had a panic attack in office and I asked him to give me a moment to go outside. He rolled his eyes and just looked at me. I couldn’t bring myself to go back in because of his attitude, so I left and he never did a follow up call or anything! He had no idea if I was ok or not. I wouldn’t trust this person with my emotional well-being.
