Dr. Famili is an exceptional professional who is truly at the top of her game. In a short amount of time, she has provided me with effective, practical solutions to a wide range of challenges. She is incredibly sharp, quickly sees through issues, and offers insightful guidance with honesty and integrity.What sets Dr. Famili apart is her well-earned confidence in her expertise, which is both reassuring and contagious. It played a significant role in building my trust in her throughout my journey. Having worked with two other therapists in the past, I deeply appreciate the help I’ve received from each of them, but Dr. Famili has taken my experience to an entirely new level. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking meaningful, results-driven support.

My husband and I have been on a journey to repair our marriage and Dr Famili has been instrumental to our progress. She has helped us learn so much about ourselves and each other and the process of repair. She meets you where you’re at and is very insightful. She explains things from a science and research perspective but in a way that’s easy to understand and relate to. She is very knowledgeable and has taught us so much. She has a way of really hearing what you’re saying even when you’re not sure if you’re making sense then helping you get unstuck and moving forward. She’s direct and. balanced and we walk away from each session with so many insights. We love her practical and actionable advice. This has been a hard journey and we’re still on it but she has been transformational in it. We are so grateful to have found her as it’s hard to find a therapist that you connect with. Dr Famili is a gem.

I have been working with Dr. Famili for a bit over 2 years, I have grown and learned so much from her. I believe I have become a better person, a better partner, a better daughter and a better leader at work because of her. She had helped me navigated through relationships from breaking up to learning how to have hard conversations and finding my voice in a relationship. Last year I have also gone through a hard time at work. She supported me through my mental health leave, taught me how to have better boundaries with work and my team and how to manage my stress and anxiety. I have never believed in therapy prior to having had a chance to work with Dr. Famili. Dr. Famili is a great listener (attentive no judgement), she guided me through how to navigate through problems by variety of questions. At the end of each session I feel like I walked out of it w a more clear direction, more empowered, more confidence and less stressed and anxious.

We started working with her on the health of our marriage with the constant fights and bickering we were having over really small things. She is a great listener and very unbiased. Really remembers each person's point of views and can provide good principles and guidelines to follow. Loved the fact that she was prescriptive at times and truly kept us accountable while providing us good tools to navigate arguments effectively and making our relationship stronger. She even helped us with tactics to deal with kid behavior issues, and navigating with signs of depression, getting help for that etc. You won't go wrong with her! Best decision we ever made. Dr. Famili has completely turned my life around in the best way possible. I was someone who was extremely resistant to therapy due to past experiences. I came to her with a variety of mental health issues (depression, OCD, generalized anxiety) and some self destructive tendencies I was struggling with. She holds me accountable and has never once been judgmental towards me. Now that I have been in therapy for years, I can finally see how far I've come. I had a habit of seeing situations in a negative light by default, and she has supported me in shifting my mindset so that I do not always assume the worst. We have worked on regulating my emotions and moods so that I can be a better functioning person of society. I also don't take myself too seriously and love that we can enjoy a good laugh. Talking through practical things, like my work relationships, has had an extremely positive impact on my career. I admire her wisdom, grace, and professionality. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I were at a cross roads in our marriage and seriously considering a divorce when we started counseling. Dr. Famili made us feel at ease and we both felt that she understood our perspectives and always behaved in an objective and helpful manner. Our marriage is stronger now than it has ever been. We are very happy that we were able to work with her.

It may depend on what style you are looking for. Her tone is more lecture style and it felt a bit condescending to me. She was simply telling me what to do. We both agreed that I had no more questions. So our 50 minute appointment ended after about 30 minutes. My least favorite of any therapist I've ever met. In contrast, the therapist I'm currently working with is better at asking questions, guiding and shaping my thinking. About six months later, very strange, she called to ask when our next appointment would be. I don't think she remembered me at all.

Dr. Famili is amazing at what she does. She has helped me so much and without her I would not be where I am today. I was so afraid and frustrated at the beginning when I didn’t know what was wrong with me but with her listening and teaching me the tools that I needed to feel better I am back on my feet and feeling myself again! She is sweet and understanding and is there to give you the boost and help that you need.

She is very kind and knows her stuff. I not only felt supported but also learned a lot from her.

It has been one of my very best decisions to go see Dr. Famili. She is incredibly easy to talk to and is very thorough in every aspect. Somehow she retains amazing amount of information in between my appointments. Showing me that she truly focuses on me only during my appointment and has my best interest in mind! She really is an exceptional doctor!

I had been struggling with depression for over a year and had seen other therapists in the past that just listened and did not help at all. Dr. Famili was able to help me gain new perspective to my problems and taught me tools, such as meditation. I am truly grateful for her help.

DON'T waste your time going to see this Dr. After seeing her for months, she dropped me as a patient via text message! She wrote that she decided to no longer accept my insurance & was only going to accept Aetna from on. Wow! She lacks compassion & seems only interested in money rather than helping people. She has no staff, its just her trying to schedule her own appointments, and she is horrible at it. She makes you feel like you should feel honored to get to talk to her. Beyond rude.

Dr. Famili is great, from the point I was at 5 months ago til now, I have come a very long way with my anxiety and panic attacks. Very trustworthy and easy to talk too. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
