Angela Coleman, PA-C

I scheduled an appointment to see Angela Coleman and I should have just went to urgent care. I waited 3 months to have this appointment for some symptoms of sciatica. She was completely dismissive. She checked herself out in the mirror more than she actually evaluated the problem she sent me to get a xray for. (She did not evaluate me at all). She didn’t listen to my concerns. Her clinical judgement was rushed and not acceptable. Actually I’m not sure if she even used it. I’m sure there is ethical standards against how dismissive and intentional she was to discredit my symptoms and just took a guess to my issue. She actually said to me “I had a patient with similar issues and I found something wrong with her foot” which has nothing to do with me and my concerns. She has tried to send me to a specialist and I declined due to finding a more qualified medical professional.

Asked me what I came in for. I told her two items in particular. When I started speaking on them she quickly interrupted and made suggestions before I could explain anything. Super rushed appt after I had waited an hour past my time to see her and would not listen and kept interrupting.

Saw her to get establish after Carly Cook left. I miss Carly! Angela rushed the appointment, didn’t want to fill a med I’ve been on for months. When she did the prior auth for it didn’t include all pertinent info then when I addressed that with her she just brushed it off and said go see this specialist instead. No! My insurance doesn’t pay for that. It does pay for you and the med I need if you do the paperwork appropriately! Zero stars would not recommend. Is not personable at all. Spent less than 5 minutes with me for a new patient appointment.

Went to her to become established patient. Was having abdominal issues that sent me to the ER 3 times. After my initial visit, she refused to see me again & told me to contact GI. They said I needed to see her. When I passed a tapeworm & needed to be tested, I called to make an appt. She again refuses to see me. She has been nothing but rude, hateful and not helpful. This is a serious thing that has scared me, my wife & family and I've asked for any test available to settle this and get me back to healthy. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone. If it's not easy, she doesn't want to do it. She acts like her patients are a nuisance.

I felt like the appointment went well, I felt like she listened well... But what she told me in the appointment is not what she wrote in my records. She wrote about things we did not discuss at all. CHECK YOUR RECORDS. When I told her office that I could not keep an appointment with a specialist I was referred to because they don't work with my insurance and I was uncomfortable with them because of their reviews, I was told to go anyway. I explained it is a hard time for my family right now and I have just started working again, and I really can't afford to do that. Her office has called me twice about it!! Insisting I go and pay out of pocket. Unreasonable. Roanoke seems to be an awful place to find a good physician.

I have ptsd. Dr Coleman & the staff at Clearbrook go out of their way to make me feel comfortable & get me in for my appointments. She is very kind, attentive, knowledgeable & gets things handled quickly. Love her!

Angela is a excellent & knowledgeable provider. She definitely shows compassion & cares about her patients. I’m so thankful my family & I are patients.

Angela Coleman is an outstanding Physician Assistant provider. She has excellent diagnostic skills and selects medical therapeutics that are up to date. She carefully matches medications to the needs of her patients. Her staff at this clinic is exceptional at communication and promptness.

I love Angela Coleman and the staff at Clearbrook. Angela listens and HEARS what you tell her. She then discuss options as to treat your symptoms. Not only is she very professional, she also is personal. The staff is the same way. I recommend Clearbrook LG to everyone. I do not think you will be disappointed. Oh and by the way I work for Carilion Clinic and will be with Angela for as long as she is with Clearbrook.

Six month checkup.

I’ve been seeing Angela Coleman for years now. She and her staff, every one of them, are professional, friendly and caring. Angela is so through and genuinely cares about my health. I have had several health “issues “ and Angela is spot on with my needs to heal and progress . These employees care and take time to let you know that they do!! All of the staff is representing Lewis Gale in a terrific way. Go there and experience a wonderful appointment for your health.

Angela Coleman takes her time with me and hears what I have to say. She then examines me to determine or collaborate what I have said and what she finds and suggests a plan to see if I could benefit from it.

Angela Coleman listened to and considered my symptoms and concerns, did some on-the-spot research , developed an opinion and began steps to help me start healing. My physical issues are improving as I follow her instructions .
