Dr. Tarique is an excellent pediatrician. She is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. My children have been seeing her for more than 10 years. My son has a chronic medical condition. His visits require lots of time, attention and coordination of care. I love the way she treats my children and I trust her judgement.

While I believe that Dr. Tarique is very knowledgeable doctor and does a great job with her explanations, I did not like the fact that she kept insisting on prescribing my daughter a specific antibiotic that my daughter has had bad allergic reactions to in the past. Unfortunately for her, I kept refusing and she finally gave up and prescribed a different antibiotic. When I asked if my daughter was clear to go back to school the next day, Dr. Tarique acted as if I asked a stupid question...her response was “Well yeah, she’s not running a fever.” It felt a bit demeaning. We have been patients at this office for about 5 years, but after my experience today, I think it’s best we look for a place where doctors listens to parents concerns.

A wonderful pediatrician. She is knowledgeable, polite and caring. Takes time to listen to her patients and their parents and explains things in a detailed but simple manner. I will highly recommend her to other parents.

My daughter was on high doses of medicines, prescribed by her previous PCP, for her behavioral problem. When I switched to Dr. Tarique, she realized that the doses were high for my daughter's age and weight. She started reducing the doses gradually and within a few months was able to wean my daughter off of a couple of medicines completely. Now my daughter's behavior is under good control with a smaller dose of only one medicine. i am really grateful to Dr. Tarique and I have full faith in her.

She will tell you that your insurance covers a simple procedure that will end up costing you hundreds of out of pocket deductibles. Then when you ask for the doctor to call you about the matter they will refuse to leave her a message. They will tell you that you should know what your insurance covers. Well I'm sorry that i trusted the doctor in this matter so i guess next time i will make the doctor wait while i verify my coverage. Very unhappy about the matter. Poor communication.

Dr. Tarique is very knowledgeable, polite and soft spoken. She listens with patience, does thorough examination and explains in an easy way. My daughter loves to see her. Getting appointment is easy. Some of the girls in office staff are polite but some are little rude.
