Not a caring person
My wife is diabetic and Dr. Hoeger refused to fill prescriptions when my wifes numbers were in the high 400's without a wellness visit. Dr. cancelled last vist that was scheduled herself. Not even willing to fill basic diabetic medicines. NOT A WAY TO CARE

Recently, I went in for abdominal pain and they wanted me to just go straight to the ER. I asked them to do testing on me first before I go spend thousands of dollars for an ER visit. They were able to do a CT scan and blood work to confirm it wasn’t appendicitis and sent me home. The pain subsided a few days later and I get a phone call to schedule an appt with a GI specialist without a thorough detail of my CT results. My pain was already gone and I wanted to know if it was still absolutely necessary for me to see a GI specialist. My husband ended up in the hospital a few days later for gallstones and pancreatitis. I had asked for Dr Hoeger to call me with the CT results to see if I was on the same path as him since I had been having similar pains as him. She pretty much sent a message back saying she’s too busy to contact her patients unless it is very bad news. My previous dr would always take time to contact me. I felt Dr Hoeger just doesn’t care and we have decided to switch drs

Dr Hoeger took over for my dr of 20 years and she is great, smart, and all you want in a primary dr. Paul.

This Doctor is no longer in Iowa. She’s been my doctor in Glendale Arizona for three years. I think she is terrific! She’s very professional, takes time to listen and she is very responsive. She provided test results via email prior to our visit so I can see them. I highly recommend this doctor!!!
