Dr. Michael Kleven, DO

I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Kleven. His attention to detail and knowledge of a wide variety of illness and conditions is outstanding and far superior than other providers I have seen. You may have to wait to get in to see Dr. Kleven, but he is definitely worth the wait. He takes his time and listens to you during your appointment so you are not rushed. A provider taking the much needed time with me is far more important than waiting a few extra minutes to see him. If you are looking for a doctor to actually listen to you and partner with you in your care, Dr. Kleven is your guy!

The Doctor is very caring and thoughtful we have been our family provider for 18 years. Has always been through and knowledgeable in addressing healthcare needs and conditions. All of the staff of the practice are equally great to work with.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Kleven back in August of 2021. My husband was having trouble with his blood pressure in January. We tried for 5 days for Dr. Kleven to help us. He never called us back and wouldn’t do any follow up. We were very disappointed in his care. We chose a new PCP and got in immediately to get help for his blood pressure. We would not recommend him or his office.

Dr. Kleven listened to my many questions and spent a lot of time with me, wasn't rushed, seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and ask. I was very impressed with him and his office staff.

First visit with Dr. Kleven to establish a primary provider. Their Phone system is messed up. Tried making the first appointment but the auto answer kept giving me “Your wait time is zero minutes”. 10 minutes later it was still saying the same thing. Had to Leave a message for them to finally call back. Dr Kleven didn’t ask hardly any questions about my about my health. Just stuck his head in the computer. He did comment favorably though on my dietary supplements in that I was taking good meds. The front office staff got my prescription provider wrong after I told them twice and entered it in the checkin paperwork. I will give them a try anyway as sometime you just have to get to know the patient to connect and be more open.

Been seeing him for 8 years. Fantastic caring doctor. Go to Glendale office and all there are very cordial and interested in my being looked after. Shout out to front end manager Christine. Great attitude.

He cares less about his patients!

Dr. kleven took time to listen to me, did not rush me or my husband out the door. My husband and I are new residents to the area so we needed to find a good doctor and I think we have found him. The staff was very courteous and professional.

Dr Klevin is kind, competent, caring and compassionate. Yes, you may have to wait a while to see him, but he’s worth it. He listens to you and doesn’t rush you. I’m sure he treats all his patients this way. I realize that I may have to wait beyond my appointment time because he treats all his patients with the same respect and care. The person before me, as well as the one after. He’s a good doctor though. If I have to wait to see him, I will.

Dr. Kleven is great, office staff is beyond incompetent. Jackie at the front desk is condescending. Almost an hour and a half to see the doctor, and that was with an appointment. Never returns calls. Took over 2 weeks to get a prescription handled, which is not a safe feeling. Billed labs out-of-network. Over-charged office visits. After over 3 weeks trying to get a refund. After multiple calls with no promised follow-ups I receive a check in the mail with my name totally spelled wrong. Now my b

I have surgery at Boswell hospital tomorrow-----Dr Klevens Surprise office LOST my pre-op chest xray. Complained to him last week about his referral dept----no apologies -----didn't seem to care.. I'm going to Cigna
