Dr. Yong Kim, MD

Yong Kim was my doctor for nearly twenty years. During that time, the level of service declined significantly. I recently attempted to have a prescription refilled but after nearly a week's time the prescription was still not refilled. He angrily claimed that it had ordered the refill but my pharmacy never received this notification. Instead of following up with the pharmacy to discover that there was clearly a problem with his system of prescription refills, he rather cavalierly dismissed the reality that the problem existed on his end. So for several days I had no medication. In the process of his failure to properly do his job, he informed me to never call his office again. Are you kidding me?

Dr. Kim has been my physician for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable and caring. He is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He has blessed my life.

Dr. Kim gives the highest quality health care I have ever experienced.

He make me happy. He practice medicine on me.

Got my husband addicted to pain pills and kept having him put off his much needed surgery. Stopped going to him too...we wrote both patients. Kept trying to write me prescriptions I didn't need.

I had been looking for years trying to find the kind of Doctor that understands my needs. I have been with him and his staff for ten or more years now

I've liked every visit with Dr. Kim. He has an obvious interest in what I have to say and he shows true concern. He actually spends time with his patients.

Kim is arrogant, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. Before meeting with him, office manager politely says labs and annual physical not covered by my insurance. Ins company says it is. Says Kim will discuss with me. He orders labs without hesitation and tells me “dude” stop taking one of my meds. Confused thinks his partner is my doctor and prescribed med he’s telling me to stop. Asked about annual physical, refers me back to office manager. Told him she said to talk to him. Abruptly storms out. Try to talk to him re his rude conduct, and confusion over my insurance, storms out again “to compose himself”, comes back in and tells me he’s firing me as patient. Couldn’t get full sentence in - constantly interrupts, talks over me. So, I didn’t get the usual See you next appointment “bro” and a fist bump vs handshake. Visit last year meddled with two meds prescribed by specialist added third (with horrible results) said I didn’t need the specialist as he (Kim) could handle all my meds.

Love Dr. Kim, Christina and the whole practice. I have been a patient for close to 20 years, and would never go anywhere else,

Dr. Kim has been my doctor over 15 years. Never had problem. All staff very nice and helpful always. Only male DR. I have liked.

What an awesome doctor, what an awesome staff! Dr. Kim didn't just say what I wanted to hear, he said what I NEEDED to hear. His competence really impressed me as well. You can see he is on top of the latest medical research and he challenges you to do study on your own (a refreshing attribute) to be completely informed. But, the only thing maybe even better than Dr. Kim is his AMAZING staff of competent and very pleasant ladies (didn't see any guys). They made me feel VERY special.

I am a patient of Dr Kim. Have been since he started in practice. I would not use another GP. He is always kind, considerate, empathetic, and extremely attentive to my concerns. I have recommended Dr Kim to several friends and relatives. I will continue to do so, I highly recommend Dr. Kim.

Dr Kim always gives his full attention and listens to my concerns with an open mind. I love the way he interjects his real life experiences when we discuss different medical issues.

Dr. Kim has been our family's doctor for 20+ years. Over the past couple of years - and the last few months - he's changed drastically. My family and I aren't sure what has happened to the kind, empathetic Doctor we'd come to know and love. He's become moody, distant, and apathetic. He is inconsistent in his decisions. He has told a family member one thing one visit, and the next completely changed his tune. It will make your head spin. We are changing doctors. Wouldn't reccomend.

Dr. Kim and his PA Christine are wonderful. During my visit, I always feel very welcome and cared about. They both spend time with me and listen to my needs. My visits are very thorough and I love this practice. I LOVE the patient portal. Often times, it is difficult to get through immediately on the telephone, but when I leave a message on the portal, Kay (front office ANGEL) calls back immediately. I would highly recommend this practice!
