No obvious csf leak was found with imaging at thoracic spine, so he washed his hands of my case. I had to ask about the results through the patient portal, the care team did not reach out to me. After high expectations and thinking that they would do everything to find the leak, they offered no more options. Very disappointed in the “leader of the CSF leak world”.

I had 3 procedures that didn't stop a CSF leak, then surgery in 2020. Dr. Schievink is kind, caring and follows through during the entire process. He really takes pride in his work.

Dr. Schievink has provided my loved ones with years of care . He had saved my loved one’s life over 8 yeas ago. His expertise with caring for patients spinal csf leaks is a rare find . He cannot cure my loved one but he has treated me optimally for which I am grateful . Even if he temporarily helps to make life more near human feeling when dealing with dreaded spinal csf leaks it’s a huge benefit . My loved one would bd dead long ago without his highly skilled hands and experienced clinical knowledge . I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone and my family as his work is Superior .

I have never had a worse experience with a doctor. Not only did I not receive any help during my appointment, he flat out refused to talk to me or answer any questions that I asked. His nurse practitioner CRIED in the room through my entire appointment and didn't say a word. I'm still completely puzzled by my experience. Additionally, I'm dealing with billing issues because his staff did not file prior authorizations despite making me believe that they did. Again, I have never experienced so many red flags with a provider. I haven't reviewed a doctor in well over a decade but this was so far beyond a normal patient/doctor experience.

Most unprofessional doctor I ever saw! Rude, cold, uncaring and heartless are the best words to describe him!
