Dr. Paul Kaloostian, MD

I was seen by this Dr. He was trained at UCLA but does not have the same opinion as his mentors. Further, he goes against the leading UCLA Dr in California, who had put lifting restrictions on me no lifting over 5lbs. Further, the lead at UCLA said I should not lift anything more than a gallon of milk. However, Dr Kaloostian stated in a written document that I could lift over 5lbs further he said I could lift up to 10lbs. The fact that he would put me at risk is dangerous, please think twice before visiting this Dr. A Dr is supposed to prevent harm to a patient, not put a patient in harms way. Disgusting.

Dr Kaloostian exceeded my expectations of surgical outcome, and the post-op process for getting there. As a physician myself, having had a number of related surgeries, I was initially skeptical, but Dr K assured me that my in-hospital care would be smooth going. I had 3 cervical vertebrae fused and went home the next day. I was impressed by his staff and the hospital unit. Now 8 weeks out, I have almost completely lost the pain and numbness, and have gained strength, thanks to his expertise! LM

My experience with Dr. Kaloostian was life changing! I was barely able to walk, sit, stand or lay down. Basically my life was miserable. The doctor fused 3 vertebra in my back and I am once again able to ride horses, walk long distance, and exercise. I have also taken off 45 pounds, am off of Cholesterol meds and have lowered my blood pressure to 109/65. I have and would recommend Dr. Kaloostian to anyone in need of back surgery.
