I liked the way he treated me. How he talked to me and my daughter. He explained all that he was going to do for my right leg and keen. Very nice doctor.

I was with Dr. Carney through Oct 2022- until Dec 2022 after I had suffered an “unknown” wrist injury at the time after playing soccer my junior year of high school. I was connected to him through a mutual friend who said he was very skilled and could diagnose and treat me right. I can’t stress enough how wrong she was. I walked into Dr. Carneys office the first day, and he told me he didn’t know if it was sprained or not and to come back for x rays. A short time later, I received the x rays and found out my scaphoid bone was fractured. Dr. Carney suggested, although to my absolute disagreement, that a long arm cast was necessary for about 6-8 weeks. Long story short becuase there is a character limit on this, he kept me in that cast for 13 weeks for it to have healed nothing, but not becuase the cast didn’t work, but becuase my bone was crushed, rendering my time in the cast as useless when it could have been avoided with a simple mri, he is also very unfriendly. Find someone else.

Awesome doctor! Provides good feedback and takes the time to explain things. Does not rush you during your appointment. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

Nothing was accomplished during this visit. It was a complete waste of time.

Dr. Carney was patient, clear, and clearly very knowledgeable. He presented my options and was vey receptive to tailoring my care based on my comfort level. He also called attention to additional concerns in a calm manner, (instead of being alarming or dismissive.)

Was patient for 17 years but he has now joined the Oasis group and no longer takes Medicare. Great doctor but I guess he longer wants older patients. Very disappointed.

Not so good. As a husband of a patient I need share my experience. My wife had a lateral release on her knee at Valley. I was in the surgical waiting room for what was a couple of hours, at least. I asked at the desk and they had heard nothing. Then I saw Dr. Carney walking up the hall across from the waiting area. I informed the person at the desk of this and was informed that my wife had been in the recovery and the surgery had been done for quite awhile. Very inconsiderate of Dr. Carney not to let the surgical waiting people (me) know. Never forgot that and needed to share.

Dr. Carney was so helpful when I fractured my upper arm. I was in a lot of pain and he told me exactly what to do and what not to do. He was right on the money with everything. I sent my sister to him and she was equally pleased. He is a definitely a 5 star doctor !!!
