Fixed my SI joint pain
Dr Binegar did my SI joint fusion and everything went smoothly. I am now free of this debilitating pain that I have lived with for most of my life. I can’t thank him and his staff enough for the great care I received. I highly recommend Dr Binegar at Pain Care Boise.

Awesome Doctor
I had several herniated docs in my low back which I received many epidural steroid injections in 2011 and to this day have had no further issues regarding the treatment from doctor Binegar, I now live in CDA ID where it is very difficult to find anyone as good.Great doctor!! NM

Not a PAIN MANAGER
Primarily interested in procedures—not pain management. He will not do anything but inject with steroids or other costly procedures. I had approximately 6 injections before I ever saw the man’s face—he will not talk with his patients. He does not care about pain issues other than costly procedures that in the long run, may not be the best course of action.

BEWARE! Do not go to this doctor! All he wants is to make money on injections and monthly return visits! He is not fair or sympathetic!!!! Dr. Binegar will not prescribe the pain medication I need. I have been taking the medication for over one year before moving to Boise and GP referred me to Binegar. He immediately reduced my pain medication and my pain went sky high. His personal policy trumps my degree of pain. I was scheduled for new injections in my SI joints and he canceled! This may be my last attempt to save my life. He will not debate the issue! He just will say no. I wish HE could live with my pain for just one day. I have tried every back, hip and SI joint injections and got minimal relief in my hip. The relief lasted one day. Same with the second hip injection and many other injections. He could care less about MY PAIN! I strongly suggest you get everything in writing before you visit or undergo any procedure. If he/they do not generate results there will be no charge. Ken

My care there was okay, but it just wasnt a good fit for me. I felt like they didn't look at the whole picture. For example, I have chronic pain in multiple places but they would only address one issue at a time. I was told untill the one issue resolved I couldn't get treatment for the other. I also had some injections into my spine that didnt do anything at all except make me feel sick and hurt more. I think with pain management looking at the whole picture is really important.

The absolute worst ever. The first thing his staff does is hand you a bottle to pee in, although I said I was not interested in pain medication. He decided that I should have a spinal injection. I was in a room with four or five other patients waiting my turn. He told each of us that the injection may not work, but if it did, we should have a series of three spread out over time. 7 tries to insert an IV! After the injection did nothing, he claimed should have. Implied that I was drug seeking!

I am a patient of Dr. Binegar's for various severe pain management problems. His staff is knowledgeable and accommodating and he listens, is precise and knows "his stuff". I am going to tout PRP...PLASMA REPLACEMENT THERAPY, which was suggested to me by Dr. Binegar at the onset of my TORN TENDON PAIN. I chose another avenue and after no success we went forward with PRP. After two injections I have had little or no pain from my tendons. To me this is a phenomena. Learn about this...!!!

I have never been more full of despair and lacking of hope than sitting across from Dr B- As long as you are willing to pay for injections even when they are not helping with long term relief, he and his staff are great to work with and he appears to listen and care- once you question his treatment approach or become hesitant to continuing treatment- the true doctor comes out- I would not recommend this provider to anyone that is seeking long term care-

I would not recommend this Doctor to my worst enemy. He doesn't listen to how the pain is effecting my life. His only option was to inject steroids into my joint. When I told him I wasn't interested in having that procedure done his response was I was welcome to go elsewhere. Really??
