Dr. Belles is literally the best ENT around. I have not experienced issues with his staff, but the reviews should be about HIM. He is brilliant and a highly skilled surgeon - I am finally able to breath correctly out of my nose, probably for the first time in decades. I was very nervous because I had SO many issues that needed to be resolved surgically - but there is a reason his wait times are long and people travel in to see him. He will be the guy to resolve your ENT issues. I couldn't recommend Dr. Belles any higher, and will be forever grateful to him for changing the quality of my life.

Thorough, Patient, Reassuring & Worth the Wait
Dr. Belles & his staff bent over backwards to get me an urgent appointment after several visits to the ER. Yes, you will wait a bit longer in his waiting room than you want to, but it's because once he's in the exam room with you he will take whatever amount of time is needed to examine, assess, treat and consult with you. He's part of a dying breed of doctors who care more about patients and healing than kowtowing to CPT codes. I found his staff to be helpful and knowledgable. Just bring a book to your appointments.

Unacceptable medical staff, can’t schedule surgery
We are in the process of getting my mom in for surgery at the ECMC ENT clinic. Much like the other complaints, we can’t get ahold of staff, staff doesn’t call when they say they will, and today they tried telling us (falsely) they did call us and my mom declined to schedule, which is absolutely false. My mom is so concerned her problem is getting worse and non-fixable after waiting so long. We got a patient liaison involved and still, as of now, staff still can’t manage to call my mom back and schedule her after liaison talked to them. We are beyond frustrated. Also considering they may be treating patients like this because they are one of few places that accept Medicaid? Our family will be filing a complaint and possible legal action.

What an absolute joke this reception staff is. I called on 9/14 to schedule an apt due to concern of vertigo and sinus issues. Was told the earliest apt was October 26th. I was getting married the first week of October and said that wouldn’t be ideal I wanted to see him sooner. I was told that was the earliest apt. I decided to stick with it. So I take a half day of work on 10/26 so I can make my apt. Only to my surprise I arrive and was told my apt was in September and when I asked why wasn’t I called/notified of an upcoming apt or missed apt they said they don’t do that. This is absolutely disgusting how you run your office and should be ashamed how you treat people. I know for a fact that the apt date they tried telling me I had in September was not my actual date as I was at an urgent care on 9/24 for my issue. Also I would have been jumping for joy at the fact I could see a specialist before my wedding to take care of any issues I’m having. 0/10 will NEVER recommend

William J. Belles, M.D.
I found the doctor to be extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, caring and down to earth. He explained things clearly and was a pleasure to be treated by. The visit went very well. It was not rushed and was very thorough. I am glad that I found Dr. Belles and will see him again without reservation. An excellent physician with excellent treatment and care.

Extremely rude and barely spends time with you during a visit. The assistant had to scream down the hall for advice to give me. I do not like any of my information publicly broadcasted. He was also wearing his mask incorrectly. Go to someone who isn't eyeing retirement, shade but no shade. He no longer cares and its obvious.

after seeing him for months post emergency visit, I then waited months for him to finally set a surgery date for my lingual thyroid. When his scheduler finally called me back 3 months later - I had the pleasure of telling her I went someplace else - 2.5 months earlier! A 5 month ordeal that could have been solved and a very stressful time avoided. I tell everyone to go someplace else. I went to Roswell and had the best care.

I already posted a review but I didn’t go into specifics day of surgery I had to wait because even though I gave all my results to the office they didn’t have them. I had maxillary sinus ethmoidectomy and he removed all of my turbinates this left me with empty sinus syndrome & continued sinus infections I can’t tell you what a horrible experience this has been. He couldn’t even take 5seconds to explain to me what he did in surgery

DO NOT SEE THIS MONSTER!!!! I had a cholesteatoma and ear drum repair surgery. I could not get a follow up appointment because Dr. Belles's staff said he absolutely had no appointments for months. I didn't know because I was only 22 years old that the gel packing had to come out immediately following surgery. Well 2 months later I get an appointment but by that time irreparable damage had been done. I have since had 4 surgeries with a different ENT to clean up this monster's mess. I have permanent hearing loss and now have to wear a hearing aid at the age of 26. The worst mistake of my life was putting my trust in this "DOCTOR" that is supposed to help people. I will have hearing problems for the rest of my life now.

5:30 appointment, finally saw him close to 8:00. In the room for a grand total of ten minutes while he did a biopsy and sent me away with nothing for the pain and no aftercare instructions. Completely unprofessional clinic in both office management and bedside manner. Do not go here.

Dr belles gives excellent care and does not rush you out. The wait time is what it is. So you need to find another doctor if that is your major complaint. Great doctor

Experienced MD, but office and staff members are unwelcoming, unorganized, and unfriendly. Also you have to wait HOURS before you can finally get into your scheduled appointment, and the hospital he does surgeries at is just as horrible as his office (ECMC). I would rather drive across the country to see a similar specialist than drive a couple hours to see Dr. Belles again.

DO NOT GO HERE EVER EVEN IF YOURE DYING If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Waited 3 hours and still was not called. Had to work at 10pm and my appointment was at 7. I got up and told them I had to leave. The rudest staff I’ve ever met got snippy with me. Took Everything in me not to curse them out.

I have never been more discouraged after seeing a doctor talk to my child in the manor Dr. Belles did. Talking to her like she was psychotic, telling her that she needed to have a stress evaluation, after my child was attacked by a patient at work. Very rude, unprofessional and lacked any type of compassion. While we also waited 3 hours to even get into an exam room. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS DOCTOR.

Our daughter Veronica was in a near fatal car accident. Her entire face was pushed to one side. DR. Bells did a miraculous job of reconstruction and today you can't even tell anything happened except for some minor scarring.
