Horrible time trying to make an appointment in Orange county office. My Ortho doctor's office intervened and got an appointment set for me but, by then, I had given up and asked my Ortho doctor's office to refer me to another pain clinic, so I never actually saw the doctor. I hope you have better luck with the staff than I had.

Dr. Barreto is as good as it gets. He has a lot of patients, yet when I'm in w/ him I know I have his full attention. He is VERY strict about dispensing schedule 2 scrips and the patient contract. He does try additional methods to relieve pain as well. As I previously stated, he gives me time to discuss my case and he makes his medical decision for treatment based on my feedback and his expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Barreto.

His bedside manner is awesome! He is very good at his job! His office staff, a little disorganized but manageable so you just have to take initiative to follow up on things.

I recommend Dr. Barreto with 10 stars out of 5, he is attentive to the quality of life you should enjoy and finds a way to help you, diligently. I have had about 4 steroid injections and he hits the spot every time. I trust his experience and knowledge anytime, the kind of doctor you find after searching for years. Angela M. Giraldo

Dr Barreto is wonderful but his Long Beach office staff are awful. Mom and I have now waited 15 working days / 3 weeks for a request for authorization to be submitted to insurance. This is the 3rd instance where the office staff completely failed to submit an authorization. Files are stacked everywhere and disorganization abounds. Not so friendly either. We love Dr. Barreto though, so will continue to go to him.
