he literally lacks social skills and awareness, disgustingly rude, complete lack of empathy, dismissive, and disrespectful. Do not go to this horrible excuse of a doctor

Shockingly bad
Spent TOPS 2 minutes with me and literally laughed that my symptoms had only been 3 weeks. Not to mention he didn't even document the bizarre symptoms I was reporting, and actually documented that my symptoms had resolved. He told me to come back in 3 months if they're not better, so that doesn't make sense. I've worked in healthcare for around 8 years and this was one of the worst experiences I've had both personally and just within healthcare. I understand that there's not an answer for all symptoms, but the complete lack of compassion, patience, and empathy was shocking.

Worst consult
The Dr. Spent less than a minute checking mom’s ears. I was waiting to hear what his assessment was and it looked like he was waiting for me initiate and ask questions. So had to keep asking him questions afterwards..didn’t feel like much of an evaluation coming from him but him just answering whatever questions ..his answers were not very clear and he rushed us out.

I waited for an hour and he gave me 5 minutes
After testing with an audiologist, who explained everything she was doing without my having to ask, I was referred to Dr. Shao to discuss hearing aids. A quick look in both ears and he said hearing aids wouldn't help. The fact that the news might be - and was - upsetting to me was of no importance. It was clear Dr. Shao's aim was to get out of there as fast as possible, despite my having waited for him for an hour. He asked me where I'd previously had ear surgery, and why it hadn't been done in both ears - as if it's appropriate to make a patient worry about prior care on your first meeting, when it hasn't been established that you're going to be their doctor. I found him to be condescending and disinterested. What I don't understand is how can he be so late for appointments when they're only 5 minutes long?

This was probably the most interesting Dr.'s visit I had in my entire life. Before seeing Dr. Shao, I was told by the Audiologist that my 5 yo son had a high frequency hearing loss on his right ear and was referred to Dr. Shao. Expecting to get an explanation and full discussion on the reasons and implications of this hear loss we went to see Dr. Shao for our appointment. We were greeted by a very friendly nurse and were told to wait for Dr. Shao. He came looked at my son's ear for around 10-15 seconds and told us that he will need to see us every 3 months and if things don't change the frequency of the visits will decrease. Wrote the same thing on a paper and attempted to leave. The entire visit was probably around 2 minutes up to that point. I couldn't believe that he didn't even ask if we had any questions or had the decency to show us the results or explain them. I was obviously very frustrated with his approach and stopped him and asked him to show me the results. He prints the re
