I have seen Dr. Dua for 2 surgeries. He is very thorough and compassionate. He listens to my concerns and issues. I highly recommend him and would continue to see Dr. Dua for any futureissues and procedures.

Dr. Dua did both hips and both knees over a nine year period and I had great results. My recovery time was faster than I expected and with little pain.

Dr Dua and his PA are thorough, and great listeners. The office staff is professional and pleasant. Dr Dua performed shoulder surgery on me where the damage was quite bad. Prior to my surgery I could not use my arm. After 3 months of rehab my shoulder is like new. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Dua for orthopedic needs.

Was referred to Dr Dua by another orthopedic dr after hip X-ray showed moderate to severe arthritis. Was immediately given an appt and surgical date since I had already been in PT for 2 months since my PCP thought the pain was the result of over stressed muscles caused by a neurological condition that causes leg tremors. Opted for HH Bone & Joint Institute. Prep for surgery was great / lots of info provided by Dr Dua’s office & HHB&JI. Surgery was successful and basically pain free immediately. Would highly recommend Dr Dua and Hartford Hospital Bone and Joint Institute- top notch care

Had Total Hip Replacement surgery performed at Manchester Memorial Hospital on 2/7/2023 by Dr.Dua and his team. The procedure went flawlessly, and I was up and walking and went home the same day with absolutely no pain. I felt like I received V.I.P. care throughout the whole procedure from Dr.Dua and the staff at M.M.H. I don't have one complaint! I would highly recommend Dr. Dua, and I thank him for giving me back my quality of life!

I went to see Dr.Dua regarding both of my knees, which were very damaged and x-rays showed I had very little cartilage left. So we figured out which knee was the worst and went from there. Made a date for surgery and everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier. Dr.Dua did excellent job, as did his staff. Everyone was very attentive and they all worked together to make sure that I was taken care of. I can't say enough about how well Dr.Dua performed my surgery but I do know that I will be back in a few months for the Doctor to fix my right knee. I will continue to tell my friends and people in my neighborhood about Dr.Dua and will be very busy soon.

DR.Dua was extremely attentive to my pre-surgery health. As a matter of fact weight was a major concern as he advised me that weight loss was imperative to a successful outcome which i remedied with 40 lb loss which paid off. My surgery was a complete success as I was up and out in a matter of 2 weeks. Of course working through minimum pain was expected and was short lived. Within 4 weeks I was back at the track walking 3-5 miles a day with no visible negative effects. It is now 4 months since the surgery and I am showing no signs of slowing down at age 63. I've had follow up visits with Dr.Dua and I believe I've set any concerns he may have had to rest as i continue to move forward while constantly expanding my goals with little to no restrictions. Under difficult and painful times, I've recovered well and would recommend his services to those in need of similar situations.

My total left hip replacement procedure was an incredible, wonderful experience at the Bone & Joint Center. Dr. Dua's team did an incredible job re the surgery and the many post surgery calls to my husband informing him of where I was in the recovery zone. My anesthesiologist was a calming, caring voice as I was being sedated. All in all -highly recommending this team!

It definitely changed my life! I could barely walk before and was in constant pain. Overtime I could barely do household tasks and going anywhere was too much of a struggle. After surgery, almost immediately, I experienced incredible results— very little pain if any and the ability to walk with ease after a week of strengthening exercises. I highly recommend Dr. Dua and his staff. He and his staff always answered my questions clearly, the exercises before and after surgery were most helpful . For me this surgery was a very positive experience. Dr. Dua had assured me that I would be pleased with the results and I most certainly am!

Excellent surgeon -- total knee replacement was done perfectly. Dr. Dua spent a lot of time at office visits, explaining procedure and risks and answering all of my questions. After 3 months, I'm back walking 3 miles/day and doing Yoga exercises (range of motion still needs improvement, to wit the Yoga)

I went to see Dr. Dua after a fall on the ice in December! He was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He reviewed my condition and sent me for an MRI. The findings determined a diagnosis of a non displaced hip fracture. I saw Dr. Dua several more times and he always showed concern and spent enough time to fully explain exactly what I needed to do for proper healing. The entire office staff, and his medical staff are very professional. They will make your care a priority!

Dr. Dua is a great ortho doctor, he's a doctor who actually cares about his patients and the well being too. I definitely recommend Dr. Dua. His entire staff is just like him caring and super awesome

From my first visit to my recent visit...4 months after total hip replacement...I have been treated and made to feel that the entire staff were totally concerned about my well being. Surgery was a complete success and if necessary with my other hip ....I would have it replaced "in a heartbeat"!!!!

Dr. Vipul Dua was recommended by my PC Doctor. I had a Total Right Knee Replacement on February 18, 2020. Dr. Dua explains things and you never feel rushed. He is very thorough and listens attentively. I was very pleased with the care I received. He and his staff are very caring and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Vipul Dua for all orthopedic care.

It is with pleasure that I recommend Dr. Dua for hip replacement surgery. Not only was the surgery a 100% success, but his staff and associates were top of the line. I had a total left hip replacement by Dr. Dua on Feb 6, 2020. I walked out of the Bone and Joint at Hartford Hospital on Feb 7th using a walker. It is now 4 months and I have no pain and can do almost everything. He has told me I can even resume my yoga, with some restrictions. I would highly recommend him for hip surgery. Dr. Dua, PA del Buono, and the office staff are always pleasant, and have taken care of my knee problem for many years.

This winter I completely ruptured an Achilles tendon, a painful and debilitating injury. Dr. Dua discussed treatment options with me, and we decided on surgery; I’m extremely glad I did so. The surgery went smoothly, with no problems or complications, and excellent postop pain management. His office was helpful in make a referral for physical therapy, which proved to be very useful in expediting my recovery. Dr. Dua was thorough and professional at all times.
