Solved my medical mystery!
She is the first doctor to mention I may have chronic appendicitis after over a year of flare ups and previously seeing a gastro doctor!! Turns out she was correct and I was able to get emergency surgery. She listens and is super sweet - very helpful and informed.

Terrible experience and I want the customer to be aware of this situation. Negligent against the customer, delaying prescription for drug testing after seeing records of medications that are needed for a long time. Critical to my wife's health, we waited for eight days for the prescription, and after following all the rules, the doctor never fulfilled the medicine and decided to take a vacation. Now we have to look for somebody else that can cover for her. Incredible.

Dr. Chen was pleasant but dismissive of my previous doctor's care and treatment. I only do not see my previous PCP anymore because I moved states and lost coverage. I was asked if the medication I was on was helping and I stopped to think about my pain over the last 8 years while on medication and my withdrawal from it (from loss of coverage) and was told abruptly that "if I had to think about it it wasn't helping" which is incredibly dismissive of my chronic pain and disorder. I also have had horrible insomnia (from my pain flare up) for a week so I have to stop and think about everything. We did discuss my brain fog and recent insomnia. She also referred me to a rheumatologist and when I called to make the appointment the doctor she referred me to doesn't even see people for the conditions in question. I have already made arrangements to see a different doctor.

My first visit with her. She started lecturing me as soon as she came in the door and didn't stop. I tried to get her to focus on why I was there. She would either keep talking over me or paused and then pick up where she left off on her diatribe. She treated me like an idiot. Worse yet, she was unable to answer basic questions about Covid. She just grinned and really didn't seem to know much. It was a scary visit.
