Dr Cruz sucks!!!
Told me there was nothing wrong with me, that it was all in my mind! I ended up being airlifted to las Cruces hospital where I spent 6 weeks in ICU and 2 weeks in rehab learning to walk again! Go to someone else!!!!!!!!!

Victor Cruz operated on my husband for ulcerative colitis, putting in a j-pouch. He was left with a life-threatening infection (needing a wound vacuum) and chronic inflammation and trips to the bathroom. Four years later, a competent colorectal surgeon went to revise the pouch and came out of surgery telling me that Dr Cruz had never put in the j-pouch. My husband ended up with an ileostomy but his body finally started healing. I would not recommend this physician.

Dr. Cruz has caused me to have trouble with my bowels for several years, and for the rest of my life. Instead of going in thru my abdomen and pulling up the intestine, he cut my muscles off the anus. I had a protrusion, and I put my self in his hands, but he betrayed that trust. I have soiled myself many times, because i have no muscles to hold the waste in. I have to wear depends at all times, and empty my bowels as good as possible to avoid being embarrased. He did me no favors!

This doctor left my mom very ill after performing surgery on her. He cut her bile duct way too much. My mom had to fight for her life in many hospitals. Therefore I don't recommend him at all.

All I have to say about Dr. Cruz, is he is God Sent. We are very fortunate to have a spectacular surgeon who really is here for the patient not the business. His staff and Mimbres Hospital are one of a kind! I would definitely recommend or revisit his office should I ever need their services again.
