Dr. Vasudha Dhar, MD

Me and my wife sees Dr. Dhar- we have been patients for many years. She is a very caring and wonderful doctor who listens to what you have to say and will diagnose you and follow up with you until you are better. She is a very special doctor for me who has cared for me throughout my condition. I absolutely recommend her and love her. Her office staff are very polite and professional.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!My sister has ovarian cancer for the 2nd time in 2 years. Was hospitalized and released with the diagnosis of a small bowel obstruction.... follow up with a gastroenterologist. After many calls to many places the earliest appt was with Windsor Center for Digestive Health. We thought great, someone will see her now... sooner than later. We met with the PA Jaskirt Chahal. We brought hospital documentation, CT, XRay and Ultrasound reports. The PA tells us that an MRE scan would be good , we agreed, and she would facilitate that. At the end of the visit she says.... we'll see you in 6 weeks. Six weeks!? She could be dead in 6 weeks!!We have called the office twice so far and have not received a call back from Jaskirt, Dr. Dhar or the front desk regarding the scan and how we are to move forward.Your Oath Is: FIRST DO NO HARM

I have seen Dr. Dhar for many years however her staff is so unprofessional that I feel necessary to comment here. The receptionist behind the front desk is very rude! Raises her voice and grinds her teeth at any request for explanation or clarification. Obviously overworked and only wants to do the minimal for Dr. Dhar’s patients.

Dr Vasudha Dhar, What a great doctor. She is one of the best doctors I have seen in my life. She suggested me the colonoscopy at the right time and saved me from major complications in future. I have gone for Colonoscopy. I read so much about colonoscopy in internet and I was little nervous on that day and little scarred. She has answered all my queries and made me comfortable. She completed my colonoscopy and explained about it. I strongly recommend Dr Vasudha Dhar for anyone who need best care. She is very competent. You are in safe hands when you are treated by Dr Vasudha Dhar and rest everything will be assured

My family all sees Dr. Dhar- we have been patients for many years. I cannot say enough about how much we value her and her staff. Compassionate, kind, thorough are all words- but they don’t do justice to the care we receive. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Dhar to anyone looking for the best care available.

Great doctor. Listened to me without rushing me out . I felt bad for the patients waiting outside but I'm sure they would get the same care and consideration. Worth waiting for. Finally have clarity as to my Gi issues. Wonderful doctor . great staff

I saw Dr. Dhar on May 23rd. She recommended an endoscopy as a next step to better understand some of the digestive and stomach issues, I was experiencing. The endoscopy was scheduled for July 22nd. On the morning of my appointment I am ready to go, IV hooked up, but to my utter surprise they only had paperwork for a colonoscopy and not the endoscopy. Dr. Dhar told me her office was working with insurance to get the endoscopy approved so I would do both an endoscopy and colonoscopy. She said it would only take about 10 to 15 minutes. 2 hours went by as I laid there with no communication about what was going on. I was very flexible with all of the confusion and mistakes that Dr. Dhar’s office made but having me sit there for two hours was unacceptable. I left without any getting procedures done. No one should ever be treated this way.

The office staff is completely unprofessional, irresponsible, and downright incompetent. Dr Dhar set me up for a procedure, i did all the prep work including stopping my blood thinners for a week. I found out the day before that her office staff never set up my procedure with the surgical center. I do not understand how Dr. Dhar is able to run a functioning doctor's office with such an incompetent staff

I have been going to Dr Dhar for several years. She is one of the best doctors in every way. She listens without rushing you and is so very competent and most of all caring.

Although I have only had 2 visits to Dr. Dhar's office, I have had countless phone calls with the office staff regarding scheduling, billing, and referrals. The office staff is completely unprofessional, irresponsible, and downright negligent. I do not understand how Dr. Dhar is able to run a functioning doctor's office with the way the office staff behaves. They have made costly and timely mistakes and have not returned any of the calls I have made to their office. It's been over 6 months. I feel scammed by this office.

They should have a sixth star for Dr. Dhar.

Was impressed after initial visit. Been suffering with digestive issues for years. She listened to my symptoms, gave a good guess as to what was causing my distress and suggested a specific test, but had no insurance at the time. She did prescribe some medications that helped, but symptoms kept returning. After I acquired full coverage insurance, tried several times to call her to schedule the testing, but never received a call back. I have since found another doctor. Waste of time and money.

Dr. Dhar is a great listener. She has been very responsive to any concerns. She is a pleasant change from my experience with another physician.

Smart, kind and caring. An excellent doctor.

Dr. Dhar by far is the best Gastro my son has seen. She takes her time, listens truly with her whole being. She explains everything to you thoroughly. I feel she has given my son a sense of normalcy in his life. We travel 1 hr 15 mins to see her & we don’t mind it one bit. We’re sorry we didn’t find her sooner...better late than never. Dr. Dhar makes you feel so comfortable and welcoming into her practice. We just adore her.

I love Dr Dhar. After many many years I have found a compassionate doctor with great peoples skill and great experience. She is well trained and the office staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Refered to me by my PCP I had an appt for 9 AM. Doctor was a no show.

I just recently started seeing Dr Dhar after switching from another Dr, who after years of treatment said he was "Out of options to help me." Dr Dhar has been amazing so far. Her beside manner is fantastic she is so caring and so knowledgeable she was exactly what I was looking for. She can think outside the box and is also a teaching professor. She is amazing I highly recommend her. Her office staff is also very nice and the staff or Dr Dhar returns call in a very reasonable amount of time.

I cannot express how fantastic Dr.Dhar is. She's like my doctor soul mate. She is sweet and caring and supremely intelligent. She not only has helped me with my gastro issues, but discussed with me my blood sugar issues, possible diabetes medicine changes, and led me to a better endocrinologist. I see the way she interacts with other patients, and they all love her as well. She is very knowledgeable and beyond wonderful.
