Dr. Van Foles, MD

Dr. Foles takes the time to explain the problem and all aspects of the surgery and recovery. He is really good about making sure the patient has no other questions. He did a great job with my gallbladder removal and hernia repair.

Dr. Foles is highly skilled and very knowledgeable. He has great bedside manners and is very easy to talk to. I pray that I never need surgery again, but if I do I want him as my surgeon! I would also like to thank his staff and everyone on the surgical floor at Santa Rosa Medical Center for the excellent care they provided.

Dr. Foles is easy to talk with and has an everyday "common sense" approach to his patients. Dr. Foles gives reasonable altermatives instead of the most costly in order to get the job done. I highly recommend him!

Very pleased so far with Dr. Foles and his staff. The girls at the front desk were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We were impressed with Dr. Foles' knowledge and how carefully he explained the upcoming gall bladder surgery. We know we will be in good hands!!!!

My husband had an acute gallbladder infection. Dr Foles was great in getting him through the whole process to finish with laproscopic surgery. I had an emergency resection (and other problems) and with his knowledge, concern, expertise and being a skillful surgeon, I am on the road to recovery. What I told him was that he was God sent! I was in Santa Rosa Hospital with my second bout of diverticulitis in. Dr. Foles, after he had reviewed my CT Scan visited with me and my husband, he explained my options of a colon resection surgery and what to expect along with a diagram of what it all looked like on paper. He has a wonderful bedside manner and easy to talk to that just made me more confident in choosing him as my surgeon. Dr. Foles took great care of me during the surgery and post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Foles.

I recently discovered that I have some gallbladder stones which may, or may not, have contributed to a severe bout of gastritis which I endured a couple of weeks ago. He reviewed my blood work (from Dr. Messe) and was very thorough in his explanation of what I might expect if I needed surgery in the future. His opinion of my condition is that it needs to be "watched", but it does not require immediate surgery. I was very impressed with him and so was my husband.

Dr. Van Brandon Foles has been beyond amazing. He has taken care of my father, he did the surgery for him, kept up with him, everything! There was many times that I asked him at least a million questions plus one or two more. He is fantastic and everyone should know. He comes by the office late at night to check on my father and make sure he answers our questions. I am so thankful for Dr. Van Brandon Foles and everything he has done for my family. He deserve to have a raise and double it!

We saw Dr. Foles about my husband's suspected hernia and the doctor put us immediately at ease. He explained everything in simple language, was very pleasant and easy to talk to. We are very pleased that we have a surgeon of this quality in our town.

Dr. Foles is an awesome Surgeon. He has great bedside manner, answered any questions/concerns I had. Wait time in the office is next to none. Very personable Physician. He doesn't talk down to you or treat you as an idiot. He explained everything in easy to understand terms. He and his office staff are very friendly. I hope I can go to him if I ever need surgery again.

Dr. Foles, explained everything he wanted/was going to do for the procedure on my wife. He told me in very basic details so I would understand, and communicated everything he found/did during the procedure. Even though he is a surgeon, Dr. Foles, continued to provide treatment for my wife, during her week long stay in the hospital and he continued to follow her progress afterwards. I highly recommend Dr. Foles for any kind of procedure and after care you may need/have. I

Dr. Foles was my doctor while I was hospitalized in Santa Rosa hospital due to Crohn's disease. I was completely obstructed and unable to eat for months. No doctor would operate on me because this was my 9th surgery and I was so malnourished. Dr. Foles took me under his care when no one else would and cared for me while I got my health up enough for surgery with an old colleague of his in Orlando. This man saved my life and I recommend him for anyone needing an intelligent and caring doctor.
