Dr. Valentino is amazing. He is so patient he listens. I mean, if you want to be listened to you have to listen right? Highly recommend.

Awesome Surgeon
Dr. Valentino Piacentino, MD was more than willing to take his time, and allow me to voice any concerns or questions prior to and after my surgery(9/2023). He has a positive attitude and goes the extra mile for his patients. He is very knowledgeable, but caring.

Can’t say I’m impressed. Got assigned to him out of Grand Strand. Originally couldn’t see him for 3 weeks, but Grand Strand interceded. Much happier with 2nd opinion. That doctor had a plan for my future, while this guy did not.

He is an excellent surgeon, and I have had many of them cut in to me. If you have to wait in the clinic because he isn't there yet, was delayed at the hospital, just remember that when you are there he will be taking just as good care of you! He is excellent in every aspect of patient care, and if my own family needed surgery, I would get them to Dr. Valentino Piacentino III without hesitation.

I saw Dr. Piacentino (Dr. Val) for chest pain after my cardiologist said my heart was ok. He did a few test and ended up finding a pre-cancerous spot on my esophagus. Dr. Val did surgery to fix my chest hernia and reflux. No more reflux and no more pills! I am very happy with his initial consult and explanations. He did have a change in his clinic staff and this caused some scheduling issues but he gave me his cell phone to make sure things got done and we stayed in touch. Highly recommend him!!

He gave me his personal phone number and actually answered it. He took the time to consult with my previous doctor on a question I had and then got back to me on it the same night. I was impressed. At my first consultation he showed me the CT scan and explained it to me, how it worked and what it showed.
