Dr. Vadean Jackson, MD

My wife and I are over 80 and have been using Dr. Jackson since she joined Well Med. We never wait long in the waiting room – 5-10 minutes at most – and see Dr. Jackson immediately after the nurse takes our vitals. Dr. Jackson is very helpful with our medical difficulties. She explains things in layman’s terms so we can understand her. We recently had trouble getting an appointment for a mammogram as they kept telling us to call back later. We called Well Med and Dr. Jackson’s nurse called and made the appointment for us using a different phone number. We are very happy with her. She is a good, competent Christian doctor who is devoted to her patients’ good health. God bless her.

Dr. Jackson is not only an amazing Doctor, she is a caring person. Both my elderly parents need help actually understanding the medical jargon that can be difficult sometimes for anyone to understand, let alone seniors. She takes the time to explain things in a manner that makes sense to anyone and has a staff that is patient and kind. Kudos Dr. Jackson.

Dr. Jackson has been my 91- and 84-year mom and dad's Primary Care Physician since they moved to San Antonio 4 years ago. I cannot imagine a more caring, thorough, patient or kind doctor. She takes her time to visit with them (and me), explain things, and keeps things light and enjoyable while also being professionally skilled. She asks questions, listens well, and clearly communicates concerns and recommendations. Her entire staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and readily available. Highly recommend.
