I got him on a referral from my GP. I was unimpressed from the beginning of the consult till the end. I have symptomatic severe left carotid stenosis that was treated in Dallas Texas with a left carotid stent placement with embolic protection device. The stenosis was caused by extensive neck irradiation with radiation arteritis from a bout with throat cancer 10 years before and he disagreed with that and was critical of the surgeon that did the procedure in Dallas. He didn't seem to want to listen or ask any questions. Not much for bedside manner so to speak.
