Dr. Todd Sontag, DO

My husband has been a patient for years and we have had to deal with staff that has no clue what they are doing, to phone calls not returned. And now he doesn’t speak to patients over the phone, You’re told that he doesn’t do house calls. This is a terrible example of a physician who has let the job get away from him. Will never recommend him again to anyone.

Dr Todd Sontag is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He always has time to fully evaluate my conditions and discusses any and all options of treatment available. He Never rushes me through a visit and makes sure that my questions are answered. I have entrusted him to care for the health of my family for as long as he has been in Central FL. Thank you.

Concerned, knowledgeable, and professional. Listens, asks pertinent questions, makes you feel comfortable. Easy going manner, professional and respectful.

I was fifteen minutes late due to construction traffic and did not take me. But all the other times i was here I was very patient and waited over an hour before the took me in.

Thorough, caring, insightful PCP. NP Kelly Lambrigger and Dr. Nye is the same office are also great. Leaving review to counteract recent reviews criticizing his office. His support have had some issues, because of unexpected turnover and changes in the ORMC telephone system. They appear corrected, and the new staff is moving more smoothly. Two visits in the past two weeks went easily.

I adore the Dr but his staff is a hot mess. Look at the various online reviews by date... They all state the same thing. I've had 3 appointments and was issued the same script each time but cannot access the needed medication due to their errors. 3 months ... no access to my medication. You cannot call them (3rd party answering service only), they will not return calls, and even when you drive to the office to get a paper script, they cannot even handle that (which was their own suggested best option). Like I mentioned, great doctor but horrible staff. He and his patients deserve better.

At this time, they are no longer seeing any patients with any cold like symptoms or allergies. All appointments will be held virtually if these are the symptoms. My allergies are out of control at the moment (had covid in August, so to answer that question..it's not that) and it just seems like an unreasonable "protocol". I really liked both Dr. Sontag and nurse practitioner Kelly but unfortunately this doesn't work for my family. If you're looking to be seen in person, this isn't your place.

For 5 days, my wife has been calling Dr. Sontag's office to get a refill on anti-depressents. While stressing about this because she is about to run out, she has been told multiple times throughout the week that "the Dr will get to it", this is after being on hold for 30 minutes + each day (sometimes being hung up on). Well today, she was told by the operator that the Dr. "Just didn't get to it". After immediately beginning to sob, the operator states this is unacceptable as she can see in her system 5 SEPERATE NOTES stating the re-fill is needed. I agree with the operator, this is unacceptable, dangerous, and unprofessional of the office and of the Dr. Leaving a clinically diagnosed depressed patient without medication because "he didn't get to it" is disgusting. Since he couldn't take the time to read his notes, ill ensure to take my time to write this post on as many review sites I can. No patient should have to go through what my wife went through

Dr. Sontag was unfamiliar with the VAERS database of vaccine failures when I asked him about it. He didn't take the initiative or show interest in looking at the only list provided by the CDC to explore the vaccine failure evidence, which is a terrible indicator of lack of interest in optimizing my medicine for maximum safety. I asked specifically for a safe medicine, and he was uninformed and uninterested in learning about Ivermectin or Budenoside, as if he already knew these remedies were doing great, and he didn't care if there were safer COVID remedies. He was only pushing the jab, and had no interest in the abundant vax failure data.

Best family doctor in Orlando! Dr. Sontag cares about his patients and would rather help them heal in the most natural way possible before drugs or otherwise.

The best Dr. That you can have, I trust him and making sure that all my family members and friends will know how good he is.

Dr. Sontag is patient and I never feel rushed. He takes his time and is very calming and comfortable in addition to being thorough. I highly recommend him!

My family and I have been seeing Dr Sontag for the last 4 years! In that time we all got healthier as a family. He took his time getting to the bottom of the issue instead of just throwing pills at the symptoms. DR Sontag is very easy to communicate with, as he always listens and explains everything conserning different treatment options. Wait Time in the afternoon is usually about 15 minutes. Morning appointments are usually right on time. Great Dr and Staff!

I refer all my friends and family to dr.sontag! I've never had a doctor that I thought that highly of to recommend! He is the best!

Very compassionate doctor. My husband has never liked going to a doctor, and Dr. Sontag came in and was so down to earth - not stuffy - and didn't talk down to us.

The staff isn't very nice. The doctor is okay. However I would not go back if he was the last doctor on Earth. His staff was so unprofessional discussing financial matters in the hall with other people present. Absolutely would never recommend.

Dr. Sontag is the best as is his entire team. He is very personable, great bedside manners and just a wonderful healthcare advocate. I drive 30 minutes away from home to see him.
