Dr. Adrian Burrowes, MD

I came to Dr. Burrowes on the heels of a divorce that left me feeling insecure about myself. I was depressed and I felt fat and ugly. It was my first visit with him and as I was telling him the story of my abdominal pain, which is why I was there, he closed his computer screen & said “you look sad, what’s the matter?” I broke down into tears. He got me a tissue and held my hand and I started telling him my story. I guess I wasn’t making eye contact, and he said “look at me. I want you to know that you are beautiful. I want you to know that you are worthy. I want you to know that you’re enough!” And then he gave me the biggest hug! I needed that so badly. He spent over an hour with me. When we were done he gave me 3 prescriptions, but NONE were for medication. They said YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU ARE ENOUGH. I taped one to the mirror in my bathroom, one to my refrigerator and one to my dashboard per his instructions. He helped me so much. Love him!

I saw Dr. Burrowes when I was feeling really bad about myself. He sat there and listened intently to me and then said “I just heard you say that you aren’t good enough. You are more than good enough. You are worthy. You deserve love. You deserve happiness, you are beautiful!“ You don’t know how amazing that was to hear. Especially at a first appointment. Yes it was my first appointment. And I never said any time that I wasn’t good enough. He just heard that from what I was saying and he was right. That’s exactly what I was thinking in my head but never actually said. He heard me because he sat there for 17 minutes without interrupting me and listened to me and read between the lines. I will never go anywhere else from my healthcare. He is a great man and a wonderful human being.

I started with a telehealth and ended up going to the office. Dr Burrowes was fantastic and always takes his time and gets things done for you. I have been seeing him for 20 years. He has always taken the time with you so you understand what is going on. Would recommend him and the practice to everyone.

Great doctor that I highly recommend. This is my first PCP outside the VA Facilities. In and out in less than 45 minutes. Their staff at CFP is very friendly and helpful. When it came to getting a prescription approved through my insurance, they made it happen in less than an 2 hours! I was used to waiting days.

Dr. Burrowes is fantastic. Hes thorough and will not stop until theres a answer. He saved my life when all the other surgeons had there hands in their pockets . i now live 2.5 hours away and i still use him for my pcp.

I have been visiting this office since 2004. The doctors are good and know what they are doing. However the front office staff have been difficult to work with in the past two years. I have had a several problems with their payment policies and business approach. I have been charged in excess of what is required on Deductibles set forth with the Insurance contract. They manipulate the details of insurance terms, and then it is difficult in getting your money back. Do detail check on them.

My insurance changed and I had to switch doctors to get a refill on my testosterone, so I asked Dr B to refill it at my first visit. He reviewed my records and refused to refill it. I got really angry but he explained to me that some people develop low testosterone from brain tumors and that more testing should be done. Blood work and an MRI showed that I had a brain tumor. The surgeon said I was weeks away from going blind. Dr Burrowes saved my sight and probably my life. Great doctor!
