Dr. Todd Garrett, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr Garrett since he began practicing. He’s always been attentive and professional.

I admitted myself into a hospital for percoset addiction & heard that low dose naltrexone helped after. I went to check in with Dr Garrett two weeks later & asked him about it. I mixed up the word, saying “narcan” & he became hysterical & irrational. He jumped up out of his chair & shouted & badgered me and waved his arms around and refused to let me speak. I finally asked him to call Dr Clark who had told me about it. He said Dr Clark wasn’t even a real doctor. His behavior was immature & unprofessional. I then went without medical support as I continued to detox. The next dr knew what I was talking about at once.Note that Dr Garret edited his clinic notes later to hide his ignorance. This was the second, although more egregious incident of him behaving that way. I intend to report him to the state when recover. No sick person should be treated in that manner. His ignorance made my recovery harder. I’ve attempted suicide twice; I score high on the questions. I was at risk that day.

He always talks to you in laymans terms. He knows your history and great with knowing how to fix your problem. He also picked a great nurse in Jennifer.

Friendly and upfront, very thorough. He is helpful and willing to find alternative solutions when they are needed. He and nurse Jennifer Packwood make an incredible team. We are lucky to have their level of professionalism in Cedar City.
